Decent but unimpressive coffee. Good price.
Decent coffee. Nothing spectacular. I'm espresso brewing. It's slightly bitter, but not too bad. I've had worse. Price is good. Probably won't buy again, but if you're not too picky, it's a decent coffee for the price.

Great for espresso! It is "Real Good "
First off, I only really make espresso, so my review isn't necessarily for drip or French press lovers.I bought the Ugandan Light roast. To me the roast was maybe like a light medium roast. Not very light, but not necessarily a full medium.I use a eureka mignon specialita and a gaggia classic pro, 9bar modded. The taste that I get is lime, brown sugar, slight earthiness, slight spice , almond/peanut hints and a touch of coco powder. Light medium body. This is a VERY GOOD COFFEE. Even though it us Ugandan single origin, it stll has nice complexity!Im so happy I tried this coffee. But this coffee does take some time to dial in. Its very responsive, so just a half a adjustment to the grinder it may be over extracted or sour. But once you find the sweet spot, WOW. For me about a 25 -28 second shot. 22 grams in, about 46 out. Anything over 32 seconds and I missed the sweet spot.Oh and I make lattes and flat whites.I was a little nervous when I got the bag because it was creeping up on the best buy date, but It is still very robust and flavorful. I usually go with kenya or ethiopian african coffee, but Ugandan coffee has now moved up!I even mixed this with some ethiopian yirgacheffe i had leftover and It still was amazing.Safe to say im buying some more of this, and now I want to try the peru light next.

Good coffee!!!
I liked this coffee, used it for mainly cold brew but occasionally hot. I would continue to buy if it hadn't doubled in price. I'll buy from my local grocery store before I'll pay that kind of price jump in the time it took me to finish the bag.

Tasty, very low bitter flavors and acid.
This is a good bean coffee. It is truly close to a medium roast and creates a smooth, rich brew. There is very little bitter flavors and not much acid to upset my stomach. I will buy these again.

Not Light Roast
I think the beans are burnt. Seems like a quarter of the beans are in pieces and burnt black. I bought the 2lb bag of Uganda Light Roast, and it looks like a dark roast. I've looked at the pictures, and those beans look gorgeous, like light roast, while the ones that came to me do not. This coffee is very bitter even with copious amounts of creamer.I believe that if you are buying this during the half-off price, you're getting lesser quality.
