This is a well made and quality connector for a reasonable price. They connect easily and disconnect just as well, I would suggest using a little silicon grease or O-ring lubricant on the O-rings before using them to make sure they can work best and seal properly. Just remember, they are Aluminum, not brass, even though they look like it.There are so many of these types of connectors that I had to look at a lot of them before I chose this one. I am not a fan of "aluminum" fittings for the outside hones accessories, but with a little care it can work quite well. As you probably aware that brass and aluminum really do not work together and most hose connections I have are brass. I had placed a cast aluminum spray nozzle on one of my hoses and they fused together and had to cut the hose and throw the nozzle away. What I have been doing since then is use a few wraps of teflon tape around the male threads to reduce the galvanic reaction between brass and aluminum. When in doubt what the metal is, scrape it lightly to see what the metal is.

The ones I received do not leak. I use teflon tape on threads which may help. I liked them enough to buy a second set for more of the male connectors for nozzles and sprinklers. No they cannot be changed out with the water on but still make it so much easier to change your accessories. I give these a thumbs up.

Yes, these perform.as a quick disconnect and are excellent swivels, however they are nothing like air chucks that actually shut off the supply . The coupling side of these disconnects does not shut off the feed side when disconnected ...it's a wide open hole, so if the water is on when you quickly disconnect it, you will probably get wet 😉

These are great - solid brass fittings at a very good price. The only thing I wish they would have included is a roll of teflon tape. Even with the included rubber washers (which are a bit thinner than from a competing brand), there is still some leakage. I used some teflon tape I had received from another vendor (it was included in the quick fit connector I had previously ordered) and voila - no more leakage. Teflon tape is cheap and if you already have a roll, then Kesfitt offers the best price I've seen on Amazon (by a dollar or two) compared to other all-brass couplers.

The quick connect works fine but the washers don't replaced with rubber ones to fix it

These are great for attaching our water pressure gauge, our water filter and hose in our RV to the water source at the campsite.
