Listened to every RollingStones and Richards album in order they came out as I read this and that made it a fascinating read. I've liked their stuff since I saw them on their first totp appearance but only owned the "some girls" album. It remains my favourite though I've discoveredwhole albums I Love or hate.Similiary with Richards' qualities.Theres a lot of unflattering stuff to get through to find the good.4*

It’s not by Keith
Got this because I thought it was an autobiography. It’s written by an American fan, I skimmed through it,, wasn’t worth the read.

A entertaining look into keith and the 60's culture
Hugely fun to read even if you don't like the rolling stones or keith. MR. SANDFORD tracks keith's life thru the years both culturely and historically. We see Keiths brilliance mapped out against post WWII boomer culture. It's not just keith but our (I'm a boomer) generation that is shown in this book. Wild fun - extravagance, and damning failure internally. By all means read this book if you like the rolling stones, keith, or are interested in an insightfull look into an age that is slowly fading. Brilliant.

Hard to fault
It doesn't matter if your'e not a Stones fan. It doesn't matter if your'e not a Keith fan. This is still fascinating reading. It is a good book and a very informative and entertaining read.Well written, well presented, well paced. Very descriptive, reads like fiction. And it gets you to laugh out loud. I really recommend it.
