Perfect replacement for Sears/Kenmore water heater
This was a good buy. It was much more cheaper here than any other site that looked legit. The item, worked as a replacement for my 60 gal. Sears/Kenmore water heater. It arrived on time and in a sealed package. It also included the safety plastic cover that goes over the thermostat upon installation. It has worked without issues so far. AO Smith is a leader in the industry and probably manufactures most water heater and parts for water heaters in the US so the name should carry some weight.

Happy that this was an exact duplicate of the defective unit to be replaced.

It works.
It works. But make sure your wiring is the right kind of wiring. The previous tenant used some substandard twisted wire, and it couldn't handle the voltage, and it melted part of the lower thermostat.
