Easier job done with these templates. The router run smooth through the edges. Make the performance a better one.

I'm not sure what the ruler would be helpful for, but centering marks for each oval could sure come in handy.As for the size of each templet, I cut out a frame for them to help stabilize the router base.

The product was as expected plus a free gift of another template which was appreciated. High quality, the surrounds for easy routing could have been larger to keep the router foot level and parallel to the work face.

The shape of the ellipse seemed visibly irregular, and after detailed measuring, I can confirm that it is. It is not perfectly symmetrical. My project is structural so this irregularity is detrimental.One of the parallel lines meets the curve shy of its’ mark; the difficulties making this shape perfect by hand is why a woodworker would use a template.I only measured one template. The 1 7/16” wide ellipse is positioned off center in a 3 1/8” wide template. There are 23/32 on the left side, and 31/32 on the right.The acrylic is quality. If you decide to use this for a project that needs not perfection, plan to get yourself some measuring blocks or an accurate combo square; you’ll be working with 32nds and other small measurements.I think paying a bit more for a properly aligned template would be worth it.

I purchased these a while ago but actually haven’t used them yet because they’re too small to support my router base. Wish they sold equal thickness base plates / support plates like my Rockler and Hermit sets doNow I have to fish and customized my own. Could make it out of MDF but would have preferred same material

As a set they are awesome. However, I bought 3 sets and between the 3 sets they are not the same thickness. Makes work hard when you need the sets for a large router project

Would be better if there were just two cut outs in each template , that would give you more surface area for you to put double sided sticky tape on to get a better grip when you place it on the wood .
