Dream come true
The media could not be loaded. It works! This is a dream come true! I am someone who has a lot of hair on my face and body. At times I would try to hide the fuzz on my face using my hair. Before I received this amazing macbine, my hair removal routine consisted of using wax and epilator which was very time consuming and painful.

Absolutely painless but requires consistency for good results
The IPL kit is very well packaged and looks very professional. You receive:- main unit- 2 precision heads for focussed areas- sunglasses- RazorThe instructions and quick start guide are very easy to follow and give good, clear information on how to use it. There is also tracker chart so you can fill it in and monitor when you've done the treatment, at what level and when the next treatment is.Using the machine is very easy. I have only tried the hair removal setting and not the SC or RA. It is completely painless and I have gone up to setting 7. Setting up the machine is easy for the level you want to use and it has a trigger button that can be used in 2 different ways.- Press for individual shots- Hold it down and let go for continuous shotsIt is a little tedious when doing the legs as it takes a long time and the surface area of the machine is small. I haven't noticed a huge difference but I haven't been very consistent with it. When I first used it for the first few weeks I did notice a slower growth but it's growing back normally now. It's important to do it regularly and consistently.

Yes it does work ..
Biggest question for the cost of such an item is ... DOES IT WORK?Wife's words -YES, it does .. after 4 sessions and 2 weeks on setting 3/4 I can see a difference. Hair grow is reduced but those growing back seem to be much finer than before. I would experiment on low setting first to make sure that you are not too sensitive. I am sure after a few more week that hair growth will eventually stop and thereafter further treatments may not need to be so close, maybe 1 every 2 weeks. After each treatment I do moisturise those areas well, there has been no redness afterwards and feels fine. Areas treated are hairless for longer and smoother.Easy to use? YES .... just make sure you read the instructions and there are plenty of video reviews online which will help but seriously read the instructions too. LASERS can be dangerous and cause permanent damage to your eyes if you are not careful.

Permanent
Has been several months since I used this and no signs of anything growing back yet, so I guess they say permanent it means permanent.

Expensive
Well I'm pleasantly surprised so far. I actually don't put much stock in these gadgets but this seems to be doing the job. We'll see how it goes. Needs a lot of attention and patience but hopefully it will pay off.Still, rather expensive.

Hair seems thinner and weaker after one application
I admit to being very cautious about this, I always worry about lasers. The machine comes beautifully boxed, with detailed instructions, although it was quite a heavy read. I learnt more generally from the features and benefits part of the listing above. Colour photos help too- all the instructions were in black and white, and some sentences oddly worded and over long.It is pretty simple to use...once you can turn it on. I am particularly heavy handed, and couldn't get it to press ' on' but it was simply that I pressed too hard.It is great that such a light pulse device is available-for acne, as well as hair removal, as that is something you may feel more self conscious about going to see a beautician about. My own hair colour is dark with pale skin, so was recommended to use gears 5-9. I stuck with 5, and as about experiment did half the area. The region in question is the top of my back, which, due to hormonal irregularities sprouts mean little dark hairs..I shaved the area, and, after using for the first time at gear 1, used for 3 weeks, twice a week, 2 ' zaps' on each area. It was painless, and I had no reaction- just remember to shave first- and I can report that the hairs although still there, are definitely weaker and thinner on the side I used the IPL on. So all in all am pleased, and have still not tried the other functions yet. Hopefully I won't have to!

Feels like salon quality.
This laser light electronic, permanent hair remover is so well made and feels like salon quality. Comes in a sturdy box with all that you need including the electric cable with wall plug one end, Jack type connector the other, which fits in to the devise with a low voltage box in the middle of the cable. Their is plenty of length to the cable so you can reach from your wall socket to a mirror. Comes with full, easy laid out instruction manual, dark eye glasses that fold up and 3 different magnetic heads that clip over the laser end of the device making the light more concentrated or wider depending on which you choose. There are 9 levels of strength and it is advised to start low and work up. There is a chart in the manual with advise for strength number relating to your skin colour/tone. Lots of clear advice in the instruction manual on usage. I haven’t seen much of a difference yet but I’ve only used it a couple of times on the low setting which your advised to do and work your way up. I am confident I will see results with this though the longer I use it. It seems like a good, weighty, piece of hand held kit.
