Pioneer Photo Albums TR-100 Burgundy Red Magnetic 3-Ring Photo Album 100 Page

The page was 1/8th inch shorter than advertised. The page was 3/8th inch narrower than advertised. These shortages can be significant when trying to fit photos onto the sheets of the album. Exact truth in advertising is important, and it is sad when it doesn't happen. --- The left edge of each page has one inch not covered by the clear "magnetic" cover. Older albums from years ago have only 3/4 inch not covered. I can't complain about this last point because that dimension was not advertised. --- I removed photos from an old 3 ring album to scan them into my computer. They won't stick again in the old album. I am having a hard time in getting a new album with the dimensions of the old album so I can have the photos be in an album again.

This album is exactly what I was looking for until I started adding the pictures. Not even half way through the album became difficult to close and the holes on the back pages began to tear. I was so disappointed. However, I like the album so much, I did not want to give up on it. If anyone else is having this problem, the answer for me was to purchase Page Lifters - VOILA! Problem solved. Hope this helps. (Found my Page Lifters on AMAZON)

Dislike: Of course the albums are made of cardboard, sturdy enough but affordable. Information should have come with the refil information of the proper size. Likes: Color choices, price, and availability of fillers.

I use these albums for recipe books because they hold every size and shape of recipe cut from magazines or written on cards with ease, and the plastic protects them from my messy hands and splattering. I use wide sheet protector dividers with tabs to separate sections, and when I have a recipe I want to add but don't have time I just slip it into the sheet protector for that section. This is a beautiful design and is larger than some. Looks nice sitting out on my recipe book rack. Very pleased.

I don’t know if I am a photo album snob, but I had higher expectations for this purchase. I thought Pioneer was a decent brand. I am re-thinking this.The outer cover is pretty and the best part. Unfortunately, the pages are pretty bad. They are sturdy in the sense that it is cardboard and not a soft paper page. But it is cardboard covered on both sides with glue and a flimsy sheet of plastic over it. I have used many of these type of photo albums before, and most are better than this. I had purchased to redo a 20 year old photo album where the plastic wasn’t holding up well anymore. However, with the flimsy plastic in this one I prefer keeping them in the old one!I can’t make this work, so will return.

I ordered this before reading the reviews, after placing my order is when I was reading through them and I was so worried it was going to be awful. But it truly went above my expectations, feels sturdy and well made, pretty good size, looks just like the photos. I love it!!! Highly recommend

This was the 4th Photo Album that I ordered as a gift for my grandmother's 90th birthday. The first 2 were too large and the weight would have been a fall hazard. The 3rd was the same size as this but the wrong color. This one is the perfect size being just under 12 inches. It has enough room for several photos on each page without being cumbersome. The cover is covered with a smooth paper...like wallpaper? Hoping will be easy to wipe clean. My grandmother loves it. I knew to be careful with the plastic covers for the pages from reading reviews so I had no tearing and if I got bubbles under it I peeled it up and smoothed it down more slowly. The page it's self is sticky so the photo stayed put while I worked with the plastic. I got extra plastic photo sheets to put in but once I saw how many pages are already in the book I'm doubting that she will need more. I'm working on making her a photo album/phone book so that she can look up phone numbers and work her memory by looking at the photo's...she has the beginning stages of Dementia but in getting her a phone that she can use and the family working on human contact and not letting her continue be a complete shut in she seems to be improving...so this isn't just a photo album, it's a tool for improving and maintaining cognitive ability. So far we're happy.

Very sturdy! Very nice that if a page breaks, just replace the page, not the whole photo album. It is a binder type that opens, and you can buy refill pages.Possible options for 4x6:- Two horizontal pics - fit perfectly- Two vertical - the corners will have to overlap a bit (about 1 square inch)- One horizontal and one vertical - fits well

Been trying to find a magnetic photo album as big as they used to make, but seems like they don’t exist unless you pay $100+.This album has a larger surface than most, so I’m keeping it.Pages are flimsy and both albums I received were very slightly damaged but did not return them because this was the second time I ordered photo albums from Pioneer and didn’t want to get barred from Amazon for too many returns.For the price, it’s ok, but it would have been nice if they were not damaged.

Purchased after reading positive reviews but upon receipt was really surprised by the poor quality. Actually feels more like dollar store quality - thin paper lining, rough cardboard edges, plastic that's way too delicate and thin. I'm planning to return this - I wouldn't recommend this item!

This item is of excellent quality, price point, workmanship and is functional as described. I am very happy with my purchase.

These refills do not fit the photo album like expected.They are not as wide as existing pages in the pioneer album that i bought at the same time.Sadly disappointed that i missed my time to be able to return them.
