Great product
I stripped the paint completely off my 63 C10, and coated the bare metal with this Owatrol, it works great! Very, very easy to apply, and leaves no brush marks, it levels itself almost instantly.

Owatrol Marine oil - Directly on rusted metal
I removed loose rust, on an auto application. Just brushed it on. Very simple. So far, I am very impressed with its adhesion, and ability to stop rust. I did paint over some as well, it is holding up great so far. I ordered another quart that I want to use on some other projects.Also, it does go along way. I've done numerous projects, and still have some of the 1st quart left. (:I really think it may deserve a 5 star, but until I allow more time to pass, I give this product a solid 4 star.Next, I want to try spray applying it. But not sure what I may need to thin it with, or how thinning it may effect its performance.
