Excellent condition and speedy delivery
The description stated that it had a hint of wear to the wrap...I didn't think so. The condition was like new and it was delivered in a nicely sealed bubble envelope. And there was a nice surprise pamphlet sized book with it (Human Zoos in the Early 1900s by Satyajeet Patil)...can't wait to read that as an intro. It was also in brilliant condition,

Humans in the inhumane world.
Exceptional catalog from a very important exhibition. Since ever, the "different from me" was considered "worse than me". This has created unimaginable harm all around the world. We still have a long way to go, but the exhibit and catalog will help us get there faster.

A well documented history
This book is an excellent, balanced, well documented summary of the extensive literature dealing with the history of placing (often coercing or forcing) humans in zoos to make money, and often, to prove human evolution from lower primates. The most famous case, Ota Benga, is only one of hundreds that this work documents in great detail.
