Spicy but expected more from this
There were some things I liked about this book and some not so much.I was really intrigued with the story idea because it sounds heck of a lot interesting when you read Peter Pan but make it Dark edition. The spice without a doubt was hot because come on, Bash being absolutely unable to resist having Winnie inspite of the fact that they are not allowed to have the Darling girl, yet gives in and the not able to resist inspite of being forbidden, made it so hot. Also, that scene with Peter, Bash and Kas all having Winnie... Hottt. Then there's Kas, who I liked a bit more than the others because of his genuine care for her.But Peter himself, I didn't really feel his connection with Winnie and then he just comes and takes her roughly after offing another guy out of jealously, it just didn't make sense. Also, Winnie herself is a character that I'm not sure I liked so much. Initially I really felt for the girl, for what would happen to her on her 18th birthday and I do get that she uses her body as a tactic but then there was not really an emotional connect that I expected to feel more of. I think only Kas was the guy who cared for her genuinely. That being said, the ending sort of makes me want to read the next one but not sure if I will nor not.

Disappointed!
I had very high hopes for this book , but I was so disappointed. There was so much hype around this book, I expected it to be good.😭First off, this is a reverse harem book, I did not know this.Let's start with Winnie Darling. She is so annoying, and the character has no depth. I have no idea what's so special about her 🤣.Peter pan kidnaps Darling women and brings them to his island in Neverland. On each of their 18th birthday, Peter Pan comes and take them away. When he is done with them he brings them back, but they all end up with mental illness, it's like the island messes their minds. Winnie's mom locks her up on her birthday , but it's no match for Peter pan's magic and Winnie is taken, just like how her mother was taken. They all return, just never the same.Peter Pan and the lost boys keep telling , this " darling" is different , she is gonna solve all their problems bla bla.Honestly, I have no idea what they saw in her. None of them are supposed to sleep with a darling, but right at the beginning of the book, they break that rule because they feel she is different and they are unable to resist her. All she did to seduce them was bat her eyeslahses, and say stuff like she like to be "bad"🙄🙄😑.Peter Pan is supposed to be the main male character, but he was just meh. This book had so much potential, but it just did not deliver . Sigh😮💨.This book is part of a series, and I won't be reading the rest of the book.

Best book I've read In a while
Another Peter Pan retelling packaged in a oh so dark and delicious way that it'll never leave it's taste from your mind and heart and you'll crave it even after it ends. Nothing I say about this book can do it justice.Though my fantasy loving era had ended with Mrs Mass's books, don't know why and honestly I thought I have lost my interest in them (ahem all spices involved velvet wrapped steel). So I happily moved on to my murder and mayhem era where I get happy if a morally gray characters does some disturbing stuff and I get happier by their actions. But this book brought back my long lost loves of fae and magic and everything fantasy related and also sprinkled with steams not only with one character but a whole lot of them. And the narrator's hot & husky voice just did it for me. If I could give this book 10 stars I happily would.Lastly I would say one thing , if you really want to be awestruck and surprised by this book immensely like I did, don't read the blurb, just go in blind and it will increase the enjoyment of this book ten fold.
