One of our family members got the right side inguinal hernia and heard about the hernia belt and decided to try this one.Pros: It gives nice pressure on both sides and we can easily tighten or loosen it according to our preference. It is true to size. The compression pads are removable but they do provide support and relieve the pain.Cons: It is not invisible, it's very noticeable when you're wearing this with the pad(s) on. It doesn't stay still and needs readjustment from time to time.We were told that surgery is the only way to remove it, we decided to go with the surgery, and this is good to wear while waiting for the surgery to take place.

I used to work in the fishing industry. I unloaded boats, trains, and container trucks. Sometimes, we were lumping 20 lb boxes, but other times, we were lumping 300lb fish. I ended up getting a hernia when I bent over and picked up a box I thought was much lighter than it was. I have not gone for surgery. The doctor said I dont need the surgery if I dont mind the discomfort, but it can get worse if I keep bending over and lifting heavy things. I have a smaller, mild hernia. The discomfort is tolerable for now. Some days, the hernia is a little more tender than others. Applying pressure to it or squeezing and pulling the skin around it usually gives me some relief. I decided to try this belt since pressure helps, and I won't have to keep my hand on it. It will free up my hands to do other stuff like write this review. The belt is adjustable and fits well. The pressure from the inserts really helps relieve the pain. I dont know how well this would work for a really bad hernia. My uncle had a bad one, and he couldn't find anything to get rid of the pain. He had to get the surgery. If you are like me and have a minor hernia and you dont feel the need for surgery, I strongly suggest trying this.

This belt is good compared to others. As a sufferer of double inguinal hernias for many years, I have tried everything; only surgery works, sometimes not even that. I have found some temporary relief using this. The design is good, and it is well-made. It is easy to use. It's highly adjustable. It is noticeable to wear in front with the pads in. If you suffer from inguinal hernias, you know that what works one day may not work another. It works better on my left side than on my right. It is good and can offer a bit of relief. My only knock is that the pads are very firm and can sometimes be uncomfortable for me.

I got this for a friend who has occasional hernia issues. This is not underwear but an additional support pad with a strap system to keep the pads in place. It can be used with one or two pads depending on the situation. It seems well made and has a pretty low profile so that it can remain fairly discreet when in use.Overall, it seems to be a good support belt and easy to put on. I will update this if anything changes.

with the line of work i do i need this to provide some support... this is my experiencefirst off the sizing seems off, as if you would need to order one size larger than what you need to work well (i.e. if your small, order a medium, etc.)the straps that go thru the groin area after some time of moving around started to move themselves and needless to say started to rub certain areas the wrong way making it a bit uncomfortablethe biggest problem that i found was that the pads are in mesh bags that have no closure to them and while working they would move and require readjusting of them (even re-inserting as it fell out once)did not have any issue with it getting too hot while wearing
