Verholen MV Rear Brake Lever Extension for BMW R1200RT R1150RT VER-4901-1000

Fit perfectly, HOWEVER the set screw was not included in the packaging. Had to run to the hardware store to find a set screw to mount it. I hope this was just an oversight by somebody who packages or inspects it and not a common problem.

I bought this for a R115rt as it was advertised it was for. It goes over current brake lever foot peg with a tiny screw to hold it into place. The product did not come with any instructions on how to installation or torque for the screw it came with. When putting the extender it was loose and wobbled loosely with out the screw. After installing the screw it was slight better but not even close to ok. I don't trust this over time driving with this thing and having to brake urgently and have this slipping off and causing an accident. I think it's a waste of money. Spend a bit more and go see a welder and have him grind of the original peg and weld a new peg.

The item pictures is not what anyone is selling. The one that Verholen sells under the same item number is a thick aluminum tube that slips over the stock brake lever. Way too thick. It’s a crowded space where the brake lever is and I couldn’t get my bid right foot on top of the extender. Sent it back.

It fits, is easy to attach, and, when riding, is easier than the unaltered lever to use.

Very well made and fit my bike perfectly.

I have a slightly bent inward rear brake pedal causing me to have adjust my foot position for braking. Replacement would be $110 plus tax. For a fraction of the cost this pedal extension solved my problem and allows me to properly brake with normal foot position.
