Very happy with the item so far. I just got it today but it's perfect. It's smaller than I expected which I like and my favorite part is that it works with my magnetic car mount. I had a similar item in the past that made it so I couldn't use the magnetic car mount so that was a huge plus for this. It seems to be stuck very well to my phone case and I don't worry that it will fall off at all. If for any reason that happens, I'll update my review. It also came with an extra piece of the 3M tape so that's nice too, just in case.All in all I think this item was well worth the cost and I will purchase again next time I get a new phone.Update 7/8/17 I've been using this for about a week now. When I first wrote my review I had only checked that the ring/metal stuck to my car mount, but I hadn't tried I after it was installed because I wanted to give the adhesive time to set. This has to be one of the worst design flaws I've seen. As far as a ring/stand for your phone, it's perfect. It even rotates which happens to be the downfall. The reason I purchased this was because it's advertised that it can be used with your car mount. The point of a magnetic car mount is that you don't have to have something that holds the phone in place by grabbing it, you can just toss it on there and it sticks. Not this. Because it rotates the phone will not stay straight on the mount at all. Every time you make a turn, the phone flips around in a circle. It's quite annoying and could be fixed by having a "lock" or something on the ring.I gave 2 stars because the ring comes in handy as long as I'm not driving. That's not the reason I bought it though. Now I still have to add another plain magnet to the back of my phone case. I will not purchase again unless they make a new model that addresses this.

This is EXACTLY what i needed & i highly recommend it! I already had a magnetic car mount (vent type bc i dont have anywhere to mount an adhesive in my car) and it worked great, it came with the very thin metal disc or square u put inside ur case or on back of ur phone. I had it inside my case, which was super thin silicone case, so it was lightweight & so the magnet worked great; however, when i switched to a more substantial phone case my phone would be sliding off the magnet mount in my car bc the case was too heavy & too thick for the thin metal disc to b used on the inside. I did not want to have a plain black metal disc/square stuck on the back of my phone case w/ no functionality except when i mount it in my car so i searched for this type that is a ring holder type as well as able to work with my current magnetic mount & i am NOT disappointed!!! I wiped the back of my phone case w/ alcohol & let dry, applied with adhesive supplied & did not use for 24hrs to allow it to fully adhere properly. The ring is comfortable to hold, it spins 360 degrees which is very convenient. I can use it as a stand vertically or horizontally. It looks great, i got the dark grey & i love it. it's very slim & sleek so it doesnt get in the way when not in use, doesn't feel or look bulky & doesnt look like a flat black metal circle stuck to my phone for no reason either. Best part is i did not have to buy a new magnetic mount! It works very well with the magnetic mount i have & it is strong enough to hold my heavy phone case without sagging or sliding! Super happy with my purchase, highly recommend this type!

I had a ring like this on my last phone which I bought at a local store for around $10. This one looked to be the "name brand" of these things, so I thought it might hold up a little better (my old one lasted about 6 months before the central ring popped apart).This one looks nice, and it's heavy enough to make you think it is going to be solid. Turns out, it's way too stiff. The "spin" function barely works because it's so stiff. I thought it might loosen with a bit of use, but 4 days after installing, if anything, it's worse than it was at first. Opening the "ring" part beyond about 30 degrees causes the entire thing to pop off of my phone, because it requires so much force to open up that the 3M (or whatever) tape can't hang on to it. The tape on the back pops off constantly. I left it on overnight, and the surface of my phone was very, very clean when I applied it. The tape is still very sticky, and so long as I don't try and open the ring, it still sticks to my phone, but the force required to use the ring is more than the tape can handle, and off it comes. Amazon won't let me return it, so I guess I should have just bought another one in the store. At least I could take it back if it didn't work.One other complaint: This is much "fatter" than the specs indicated. Maybe the ring itself is technically only 3mm, but it sticks off of the phone more like 5mm. Doesn't sound like much, but when phones are only 7-8mm thick to begin with, a 2mm difference feels huge. Phone doesn't fit in my car cradle with this ring attached.

Looks nice, fits my phone nicely, fits my finger nicely, seems sturdy, and basically turned my phone into a Beyblade. You can also tighten the ring through a small Phillip's screw at the hinge, in case it ever comes loose. It spins around, as expected, even if it doesn't, at first glance, look like it will.However, the logo (although nice-looking at first) comes off relatively easily if you use it to turn your phone into a spinning top. Additionally, this itself is not magnetic, so you can't just, like, hang your phone on the fridge. The ring itself is often exceedingly difficult to raise from flush with the base; you will often need a prying tool, like a long fingernail or a pocket knife. You can use this as a stand, but it slides around very easily, and it doesn't withstand finger pressure all too well.Also, it came with a nice, metal pen, which was pretty cool. It also came with an extra piece of round 3M tape pad.

This gadget is one of the handiest I have bought for ages. It sticks firmly to the back of your phone. It is not bulky and I don’t even notice it with the phone in my pocket. Bonus it rotates. And I just love how something so small will work as a stand for my phone to watch videos. Another bonus is it works brilliantly with my magnetic car holder.

I put it on an iPad Pro, fail. Only for use with phones.

didnt even stick to my phone, wasnt strong enough adhesive, could not hold my phones weight, (everyone has a big phone these days, it needs to be able to hold the weight to specifically cater to big phones).
