Nice looking solid wood, no splices, seams or cracks. The magnet is very strong and the installation is quite easy. When you receive this, there is a thick strip of plastic between the magnet and the wall mounting plate. This is to enable you to get the mount plate off the magnet. If you put the mounting plate back on the magnet without the plastic strip, it will be a task to get it off. Also, watch you fingers! The plate can snap back onto the magnet quite vigorously. Once the wall plate is mounted to the wall, the plastic strip can be discarded.

Great we'll crafted holder. It is surprisingly heavy. Magnets are nice & strong but make taking the knives off a breeze. Go ahead and buy with confidence. Does not come with mounting hardware. It's a 2 piece assembly that's very easy to set up.

Very well made, looks great, easy to install with a separate metal bracket that magnetically attaches to the back. Only complaint is the magnet doesn't go to right to the edge.

I absolutely love it! This has opened up a big space on my counter. I was able to mount it behind my paper towel dispenser, with plenty of room. Installation was easy. It holds all my kitchen knives and steak knives, too. Thanks so much!!! Love it. Looks good big Thumbs up !

It looks great, but I don't think it's designed well. the metal back that you screw into the wall connect magnetically to the wood part, but the magnet is too powerful when I try to adjust the wood panel it ripped the screws from the back plate right out of the wall.

Looks great, functional, and as I have high end knifes I don't have to worry about the wood causing imperfections to the knife as metal magnetic holders do.

While this knife / tool holder is nice to look at, it is inadequate for any of my larger French knives. I use primarily forged steel knives when working in the kitchen, particularly a 10 inch Henkel, and when I try to hang the knife on the holder, it just slides down & off. It does work fine for stamped blades as they are generally lighter. If you use professional grade knives, I do not recommend this product.

The description states "POWERFULL MAGNET - NO WALL DRILLING - EASY USE - SPACE-SAVING - SOLID WALL MOUNT CHERRY WOODEN.No Wall Drilling? This is a lie....There are only two pieces to this product. There is a steel bracket with two screw holes (and you did not even provide any screws). This bracket has to be mounted to the wall, and only by two strong screws. Once this is done the wood board snaps onto this bracket from the magnet on the back of the wood. Once this is done the knives hold onto the wood because the magnet "penetrates" through the wood.I will return it since the description is dishonest.
