This castile soap by Dr. Woods is excellent. I have been using castile soap for over ten years, and Dr Woods is always the brand that I use. If you like Dr Bonner's castile soap, then you will definitely love the Dr Woods brand soap. I have tried nearly every version of the castile soap that Dr Woods produces, and they are all equally great.Furthermore, the price difference between Dr Woods soap, and any of their other competitors, is very significant. Every year I purchase at least several gallons worth of the Dr Woods 32 ounce castile soap bottles. Probably around four or five gallons worth, each year.This soap is very gentle, yet very cleansing -- and completely natural. And each of the different versions of their castile soap smell excellent on top of that. I frequently smell them in my hand, before I add water, because I love how they smell -- it's like aromatherapy. And I use their shea butter castile soap as my shampoo. I recommend all of their different versions, including their black soap, which I frequently use as shampoo for my hair.One thing to keep in mind, is that the shea butter versions of their soap, does not smell quite as strong as their non-shea buttter versions do. That's probably due to the extra shea butter ingredient included in the shea butter soap. If you want the strongest smelling version of their soaps, stick with the non-shea butter versions. But either way, ALL of their castile soaps smell great.Furthermore, this soap is produced right here in the USA, and Dr Woods is a family owned company that produces it, so I enjoy giving my business to great hardworking American family owned companies.If you're looking for great castile soap that smells great, and leaves your skin feeling moisturized, and you want to obtain it at the best and fairest possible price, then you definitely would do well to begin using the Dr. Woods brand castile soap.

I had been using Dr Bonner Almond - Just received the Almond and Shea butter 32oz size 2-pack and immediately impressed with first pour, I'm sold - From here out will be using Dr Woods 2 -pack Almond -Shea Castile soap.Seriously - excellent price and excellent product - I'm a new customer! Great scent! Not such a runny liquid as the ones I had been using. Just right. If you like Castile soap and an almond scent with Organic Shea butter, this is Worth giving a try.

The item I ordered said 32 oz for $9.98 but I received a 16 oz bottle. So for the price it was an awful deal. Not to mention false advertising on Amazon's part. I will be following up with customer service about this.The soap does not keep a good scent when used, it smells nothing like almonds once you rinse it off and the odor it leaves on my skin is rather disgusting. I have used Dr. Bronners for years and if you want a nice smelling soap with a scent that stays the same go with Dr Bronners.

I have used other brands of Castille soap. Dr. Woods is a great option. With two bottles, I should not need to purchase again for months. I primarily use this product for hand and dish soap. I dilute the product at least 2:1 with water. The almond scent is good.

One of my favorite Castile soaps is the almond scent. It's got a nice generous sent. I buy this all the time. Although there is one thing that I do not like about it is you cannot just put it in a soap dispenser without it splashing all over you. It is too watery for a soap dispenser.

It's a little too strong to be used on it's own, it dries out the skin quite a bit! (I definitely don't recommend using as a face wash on it's own, it burned and made my whole face red). It has a very strong smell, which I liked, though I can see it being far too much for others. It has a nice medium thick viscosity (Dr. B's is a little too thin for me). I added some tea tree oil, melted coconut oil, and vitamin e oil and made my own hand soaps with it.For dishwashing, it didn't work quite as well but it's definitely useable! I didn't mind, though some other things clean a bit better.

I normally use Kirk's Coco Castile soap but I saw the reviews on this and thought I'd give it a try and compare it against Kirk's. I can't put into words how disappointed I was by this product. Kirk's has set the bar very high and this product is pretty low. It has a nice sweet almond smell and it does not linger, but I found it it did not lather either well. Very highly disappointed. Would not buy again, would not recommend.

As far as cleansing and moisturizing the product works as expected. As noted by other reviewer, however, the fragrance is beyond a subtle fruity almond smell and is closer to a cherry air freshener. It doesn’t linger in the skin much after use but I found it overwhelming while in the shower. I’ll use this brand again, but I’ll avoid this variety.

Amazing product. My son has severe eczema due to a dna related condition (HED) and have used many products including the ones with cortizone but nothing worked like this product. After 4 washes I stopped applying any cortizone creams but only moisturizer and even that not every night. I use this as head to toe. My son is eczema free now. I cannot thank you enough.

Its so good to find a natural soap at a good price and one that is pleasant to use. this is it. My husband has eczema, especially on his hands and especially in the cold weather. Most liquid soaps just have so many chemicals in them that they aggravate the condition further and we all have to wash our hands several times a day. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others. Lathers well and smells divine.

Arrange quickly love the almond smell have to remember that's it's not soapy like the normal wash I've used before which asap I'll be paying more my skin is so dry it's helping with using this

The product is great, its really good on the skin. It does not dry out your skin like other soaps. I'm only rating 2 stars because the product description is misleading. It says "Pack of 48", but it's really just one. Not sure why that is included in the title...
