Just as expected.
This has a nice heavy feel to it, and does not feel or look cheaply made. I'm glad payed the extra few bucks to purchase this product rather than a poor quality component for my networking needs.

I just purchased this patch panel... well I agree... the directions are the worst.Took a couple of try wiring... but i figured it out.If you are looking at the back of the panel...Number one on the right and 24 on the left.the 4 wires on top while slots and 4 wire on bottom while slots for each cable.... follow the sticker for A or B.Will update later once the panel is complete in place.

Working well for me. I was a little worried because I had to repunch about 15 ports which can be a problem with cheap patch panels. This unit took the repunch in stride. Note, you will need a 110 punch tool.

The little cable rail does not seem to want to stay in correctly, but it still helps and so far it appears to be working well.

The images seemed to indicate that this came with something to mount the patch panel to the wall. It did not. The pictured attachment is strictly for cabling and not a support unit. If you are looking for a standalone mounted unit, this is not what you want. It can be mounted, but I bought it based on the pictures seeming to indicate a mounting unit.

I purchased this item both because of pretty good reviews of its quality and the convenience of the cable management bar. However both aspects weren't good at all. After installation issues lead to a wireless access point failure, we rewired the port twice and still had issues. After 2 hours of trouble we found that one port on this panel had 2 bad pins. Upon moving to a different port, everything was fine. The cable management bar turns out to be more of a pain than helpful. It is not held in place very well. After using the provided zip ties to secure the cables, the minor twists and bundling of the cables pulls the bar right out of the slots on the back. And definitely do NOT follow the wiring diagram on the instruction sheet. The instructions show all 8 wires being in a straight line. The sticker on the back of the unit shows 2 rows of 4 wires. Follow the sticker on the unit, not the instructions.
