DeSantis Super Fly Pocket Holster - Gun Pocket Holsters for Concealed Carry, Conceal Carry Pocket Holster for Pistols, Revolvers, Soft, Designed for Comfort & Discreet Carry, Ambidextrous

I have the De Santis Nemesis and recently purchased the De Santis Nemesis Superfly the Superfly is great it prints the grips of my Taurus model 85 when wearing light colored Wrangler cargo pants and black cargo pants. So I would recommend wearing your shirt untucked it didn’t print the grips when wearing dark colors like brown or green cargo pants it shows the grips a little bit in some cases some cases it doesn’t because one dark color cargo pants I can barely see the grips when I look in the front pocket standing up in another dark color cargo pants I can’t see the grips standing up looking in the pocket so I guess it depends on how the pocket of the pants is cut/made as to if you will be able to see the gun grips. I am very satisfied it doesn’t go in some smaller cargo pants front pocket I guess it depends on who made the cargo pants as to if it will work. It’s my favorite pocket holster that I have and it’s well worth the money the addition Velcro flap works very well the craftsmanship is very unique. I apologize for keeping editing my thoughts. I just wanted to say I noticed the holster stays in your front pocket so well when you take it out after having it in all day the lining of your front pocket literally comes out of your pocket that is very cool it stays in position so well. I started using it in my back pocket of my cargo pants and it works well as long as it’s covered by a jacket or say flannel shirt of course and it’s very comfortable carrying it in my back pocket

Pros:+ Fits the gun (in my case an LCP with a Crimson Trace) extremely well, but the inner lining is still slick enough to draw smoothly+ Sticky rubberized surface does a great job of retaining the holster in the pocket when you draw (I haven't yet had the holster accidentally come out of the pocket with the firearm)+ Completely covers the trigger and trigger guard+ Retains enough of its shape to allow for re-holstering without removing the holster from your pocket+ The added flap does a great job of breaking up the outline of the pistol in your pocket, it ends up printing like a wallet or a Gameboy+ The fact that the extra flap is attached with Velcro and removable, means it can accommodate different styles of pants and different carry preferences+ Shape allows full access to the handle, so you can casually clutch it in a 'ready to draw' position while in threatening areas (dark alleys, ect.)Cons:- The price is a little steep for a pocket holster; excluding custom and nicer leather options, most pocket holsters run between $5-$20- Without practice, trying to draw with the print-shield-flap thingy can be really awkward, since you have to slide your fingers in just right to get between the flap and the handle- I've read online that the stickiness of the rubber diminishes over time as dust and lint coats it (I haven't had mine long enough to comment either way, but a good cleaning may extend the lifespan)Verdict:I'm very pleased with this product. I can't really think of anything more I could want in a pocket holster. It's reliable, safe, discrete, and comfortable. A little pricey, but what's the point of shelling out $300+ for a handgun, just to carry it in a shoddy $5 holster? Well worth the money. Would buy again.

I upgraded to this Desantis Super Fly version, for my LCP Max, which is the best 'soft holster' I've found so far!!!I initially got their Desantis Nemesis version at first, but it wasn't quite as sticky and would occasionally slip out of my pocket on the draw if I wasn't careful.I also got a Vedder hard snap holster after this one, with a curved catch hook and a push off thumb tab, which I find has a faster draw, for me, but it does print a tiny bit more, and not quite as comfortable.Think you'll like this holster.Enjoy!

The super fly is gummy on the outside... I'm guessing that fly reference is like flypaper. Compared to the Nemesis, its a bit bulkier from the material and the detachable print shield also adds bulk. It's light and carries well and the shield makes it look like you're carrying a wallet in front on tighter pants.. with looser pants, it helps keep the gun upright.I have both and I'll decide base on what I'm wearing as to which is the better carry holster. its easy to reach down and draw from, and the material keeps the holster in place. I plan on getting a CT laser or wait for one of the new viridian green lasers for the LCP, hopefully it will still fit.Price is a bit high for the construction, but it's nothing compared to ammo prices these days.

This holster is AWESOME! I have a Ruger LCP with the Crimson Trace laser and it fits perfectly in the Super Fly. It's not a "tight" fit per say, but it allows a very smooth, instant draw, there won't be any catching on this holster. The grip on the outside of the holster is probably it's best quality....it REALLY stays in your pocket. Also, it comes with a little velcro cover that makes it print like a wallet; very nice addition, and I have found that it's really nice to have because when you remove it from your pocket, you can do so comfortably without everyone seeing your firearm. All in all, if you have a Ruger LCP with a laser(or without, just don't get this model), you really have to try this one out, I honestly don't see how any other pocket holster could offer more.

Just got the DeSantis M44 SuperFly for a Ruger LCP with laser max.....it's perfect. Works like a charm, fits the gun, fits the pocket. Has a detachable cover for more outline breakup if desired. I found it works best without the extra piece but it's nice to have the option. Holds in the pocket just fine. I have to say it's better than a recent more expensive purchase I recently made for the same type of holster (see other reviews under my name).
