Nexcare Waterproof Bandage, Knee and Elbow, 8 Count (Pack of 3)

I am a huge fan of Nexcare waterproof bandages but these fell tremendously short of any bar line set from products past. The adhesion is nearly non-existent and having recently had surgery I have to protect my incisions from absorbing water when showering. Out of the 24 bandages, only 5 of them have stayed on during regular daily wear. Since I cannot drive due surgery restrictions I ordered from Amazon, perhaps I received a "bad batch" in their inventory stock because the Nexcare bandages I ordered from Walmart Grocery delivery worked beautifully. Problem solved but lesson well learned for future ordering.

This is the only brand of adhesive bandage I ever use. The adhesion is great, you can leave one on for several days and it won't come off. Sealing a wound helps prevent scarring, so the adhesion is important. Just make sure the skin is clean and dry and press the adhesive part down well before removing the paper, and voila! Days of protection between bandages.

With 8 stitches in my shoulder, I couldn't shower without ensuring they stayed dry. These are the only bandages that could accomplish that.

Discovered these bandages at local store after had quarter-ish sized piece of skin cancer removed on leg. The bandages Worked perfect for going in pool and taking baths. I first had to wait like 8 weeks before could get the site wet so I did not use the bandages until after that time period just to prevent any chance of infection for an open wound. I purchased these from Amazon and they seem to be as authentic as the store bought ones. Do a test though just to make sure if it’s for a major wound.

We stopped wasting bucks on other brands that come off or wear off with a little sweat or water. The Nexcare is the best product for the average consumer seeking above average medical bandages. It will not come off or be compromised while you shower. The wound is truly protected. I ordered an array of sizes to make quick First Aid kits for the many outings our family does in the great outdoors. A post op nurse recommended the brand to keep the healing wounds from getting infected and i could take a shower with confidence. Price is higher than other brands but you will use less consumables, therefore maybe its a savings in the long run.

These bandages last 5 times longer than their closest competitors. That makes them much more valuable for the money. I love these. I use these often. With coronavirus my hands are splitting open from over washing and lack of gloves. One of these covers a whole finger. These stay on longer than any other bandage I've tried. Nexcare is the best!

These are my favorite bandages. Their thin plastic film secures the pad of the bandage nicely and affords more flexibility and invisibility than standard Bandaids. They tend to stay where you put them as long as you prepare the skin well before application. I use bandages a few times per year but when I do use them I want something that works well. This brand is the best I've found.
