EarthX ETX12A Eco-Friendly Lithium Motorcycle Battery with Built-in Battery Management System

I bought this battery for its compact size to hide it *under* the swing arm of a motorbike. It is small and light.In 2020 I put the bike in an enclosed trailer under the sun (water leaked in and created dampness inside). A full 2 YEARS later I returned to unload the bike and it was clear that the environment was harsh in there from dampness, a lot of the bike rusted. But I turned the key on and the headlight shined super bright, and the bike fired up strong cranking. I’m amazed how it handled two years in a sauna.

I am notorious for abusing, neglecting and torturing batteries. The BMS built in prevents me from destroying them.I have bought 3 EarthX batteries. This one went into a 200CC Yamaha TW200. I use a bigger model for an 800CC Snowmobile. During the summer, the snowmobile battery goes into the kids powered ride on truck. I have a switch to change between the stock lead acid battery and this one so we have a backup if one dies while we are out. Kid thinks I installed a turbo switch. The higher sustained voltage under load keeps the motors from trying to draw higher current at lower voltage. I am also using an Iron Phosphate battery to power a 100w Yaesu HF ham radio in a portable "go box". Again the sustained voltage is a great advantage while transmitting.The one time I needed to call EarthX, I got friendly and knowledgeable staff, eager to assist me. They were easy to understand, speaking in clear american English.

I converted a kick only 1000CC Harley to an electric start and wanted to keep the original small kick only battery box, I started with Ballistic but they had a very hard time turning over the high compression engine so I tried the EarthX ETX12A, this little battery spines the engine like there are no plugs in it, incredible product,

This battery worked great for 1 month then started to need external charging every week the by end of 2nd mo had to charge daily. By end of mo 3 it wouldn't even charge at all. Waste of $167+tax.

Fit in my dirt bike and runs great

Bought this battery on December 19, 2021 for my BMW motorcycle. It lasted one year and went completely dead. I also used the associated battery tender to maintain battery condition the entire year. I could have purchased two gel batteries and had money left over for the same price. Based on my experience the two gel batteries they would have lasted me 4 years. Very poor and disappointing product especially considering the cost.
