These pencils are an absolute bargain. They are very similar to the Pastelowe and Holbein pastel coloured pencils in look and colour selection. They lay down smoothly, are soft and release pigment readily. In lay down they remind me of Prismacolour, Derwent Coloursoft and Derwent Chromaflow. The build quality is excellent. If you're looking for an affordable but quality alternative to the Holbein 50 pastel set then this is it!

Don't waste your money on these pencils. They break when you sharpen then. I used a brand new hand pencil sharpener, some of them just keep snapping. I told the seller, all they said was don't use an electric sharpener. I don't own one. They have also copied the colours from the sets of Holbien pencils. The numbers are the same they just put a number 1 in front of each number. They are not fit for purpose.

These pencils are a copy of Holbein Pastels, the colour of the pencil, the names and the numbers (with a 1 in front) are identical. Even the lay down is almost the same, if anything the Brutfuners are a fraction darker, but not by much. They are richly pigmented and soft when using. For the price these pencils are a bargain.

Creamy, good colour coverage comfortable to hold, protective trays keep secure.

These are good quality pencils. The pastel colours are so nice. They colour Lovely and the colours show up well. My daughter has used them and said she loves them
