Shower Bar
Sticks great to the new modern shower walls. Would not stick to my mother’s older shower walls, they weren’t smooth. So I put them in my new shower.

Shower handles
Great handles! Very sturdy. Getting in and out of shower with one foot after surgery and needed to rely on handles. Worked great!

Very good suction!
These are great for a solid surface application (might not be as good on small tiles)! Applied to a continuous vinyl shower enclosure they are great! Good abilty to stick to the surface, and will stay in place for a good long time. Easy to install, good value and makes the enclosure safer!

Grab Bars for Shower
They emanated a sense of solidity that immediately instilled trust, and they were made from materials of the highest quality. Because of the detailed directions that were provided, the installation procedure was rather simple. I was able to mount the grab bars in my shower area in a secure manner in a matter of minutes, leaving me with a stable support system and a tight hold. It is the heavy-duty construction of these grab bars that actually sets them apart from other grab bars. These bars are robust enough to take large weights and pressure without exhibiting any symptoms of wear or instability, in contrast to some of the more fragile alternatives that are currently available on the market. This function gave me a sense of security and peace of mind anytime I walked into the shower, which is crucial for someone like me who places the utmost importance on health and safety.

Don't trust your safety to suction bars!
I have smooth shower tiles. As directed, I wiped down both the tiles and the suction part of these bars with rubbing alcohol, waited until everything was thoroughly dry, and tried installing these. It was almost impossible to get the tabs to close back down. No way to do it with my thumbs - I had to use a folded washcloth to press them down to get the tight seal. Boy, were they every tight! Pulled with all my strength to pull them away, and it was like they were welded on.For about an hour.Gave them another try and on one, the top suction would slide back and forth. Within another hour, both were slipping slightly from side to side, although a good pull still wouldn't get them to release. About an hour after that, one of them just fell off, while the other was pretty easily pulled away. Neither was subjected to any water, such as would occur during an actual shower, so I can't report on whether or not that would make them release any sooner. Now, the instructions say to reapply every time, so you may say, "Well, if they hold tight for at least an hour, they'd last through even a lengthy shower." Maybe yes, maybe no. Personally, I'm not willing to hassle with that, especially when you have to make sure both the tile and the bars are scrubbed clean and dried first, then the tabs practically require Hercules to push them down. I doubt a lot of seniors that would need shower bars in the first place have that kind of strength. I know I couldn't do it with my bare hands. There are a ton of suction bars just like this one for sale on Amazon and elsewhere, and I have to assume that they would all have the same problem. In short, if you're unsteady enough to need shower bars to avoid a nasty fall, just bite the bullet and get the kind installed that actually screw into the wall. Yes, you'll probably need a professional to locate the studs and use a special drill bit to avoid cracking your tiles. Yes, you'll need to accept that they're permanently installed and there will be holes in your tile if you decide to remove them. But if you want to be sure that if you grab the bar, it won't come away in your hands and leave you sprawled across your tub. Or worse.

Be Careful
They work fine as long as you remember to check that they're not coming loose. Bad news is they eventually always come loose after a while. The good news is usually only one end or the other feels loose so you can tighten it up.

Check that the Grab Bar(s) are attached each time a shower is taken
Two units were purchased on 5/7/2024. One is OK and stays on the wall all of the time. The second one loses suction periodically and needs to be remounted. The shower is a smooth one-piece fiber/plastic arrangement so surface irregularities are not the issue. One of the latches on the Grab bar in question does not stay all of the way down when in the locked position. This might be a failure of the mechanism that creates the suction.

They are easy to install and Really hard to get off.
This product has brief installation instructions; however, it is clear you need to install them correctly in order for them to work properly. It took me a couple of tries to get both ends to lock in; however, once I had been properly connected, they do not move.

Not worth for purchase
It's waste of money. I chose this product to help my aged dad , but it didn't serve the purpose.Didn't stick to the surface for long and fell down often even though the surface was properly prepared for it to get stuck
