Philippians for You (God's Word for You)

This is the third or fourth of the "__________For You" series I have used. They all are so well written and really help to bring alive the scripture and the background of each book. They help me in leading a Home Fellowship and covering each book well. I have used this and a more standard commentary together and felt like it was very well received.

This was one of three that I used to teach this book to senior citizens in a retirement facility. It was my favorite because written in everyday English able to be understood by many from different backgrounds!

Fantastic book for a deep, methodical study of Philippians. Has been great for both my daily reading as well as for helping guide discussion for a Bible study I lead. Highly recommend this book and the others in the series I have read so far (Romans, Galatians, Daniel).

My first read in the “For You” series and it won’t be the last one. I’ll come back to Philippians and my guess is I’ll be visiting these commentaries for years to come.

Great book, but please don’t use DHL, that service it’s socks, took me 3 days to fight with them to get my book

I really appreciate Steve Lawson and his expository teaching on truth!

Thoughtfully written and theologically insightful. Gives excellent background on the context for the scriptures.

Easy to read and a great study companion. Would whole heartedly recommend this book to anyone looking at studying Philippians.
