I bought these mattress vacuum bags, especially for moving and storage. They work great and are easy to use, especially when you need to easily fit them into the car trunk after air shrinking and rolling them up. .

This is thick and just what I needed to cover an outdoor swing bed but the zipper on one side was longer than the other and is plastic so when you get to the end there is a large hump of extra on one side, rendering it useless as a vacuum sealed bag. This is now just a very expensive moving mattress bag.

Works for what we needed. Good value. Came fast.

I was using this to store a California King pillow top by folding it in half (basically the size of a twin mattress) and then shrinking it. The real secret to this type of storage is getting it small enough so then then the holding straps can keep it from expanding.THE GOOD - The vacuum bag is GREAT and does its job.THE BAD - The Holding Straps are very cheap. They are too short (another 12inches would do the trick) and the Strap Connectors are poorly made and will not stay connected.Luckily for me, I already had two similar straps, but with strong connectors which performed perfectly.The Bag was good, but the straps were totally useless. And if you understand the basic function of this storage system then you will understand that the main purpose of the bag is to just shrink the object small enough to be able to role it up tight and then get the straps secured tightly around it. After that, it doesn't matter if the bag is able to maintain its vacuum seal indefinitely. After getting it shrunk down, then the purpose of the straps is to hold it to size and keep it from expanding.As per the attached picture, it is shown being stored below a table. previous to this it would take up all the room under the table and bulge out beyond the front. Now it is easy to move, use, and store again.I just wish that it came with useable straps.
