Has a split point which does not reshapen well . I don't like them very well as the web is much thicker. If they get dull, throw them away or drill pilot holes which you should do any way I guess.

I needed a large bit to drill holes for a 5 inch diameter cylinder, worked great and very reasonable price

Excellent quality and the reduced shank size make this a perfect fit for home use.

Just needed to drill out a drain plug hole for a helicoil on an aluminum oil pan. A one time use item, so I don't know how this review will help you?

Bought this but thinking it was so called "commercial grade" as it states but it broke off at the drill mounting end as soon as I used it on a project so returned it for a full refund

I have used a couple different sizes from drill america and they are great. They last a while and are fairly priced in my opinion.

Worked well

I got this bit to do 2 holes into low carbon steel. Didn't make it . Buy a better bit if you are drilling steel . For wood or soft Material I'm sure this bit will work .
