GROUND HAWG White's Shovel for Hardcore Hunters+

I love how durable this shovel is. After buying cheap digging tools for metal detecting and breaking everyone I had, I bit the bullet and purchased my first shovel made exclusively for metal detecting. I couldn't be happier! It's tough as nails and rips through the roots , weeds and Earth like butter. Trust me if you bend this tool you were trying to bend it. I see no application where this would happen under normal use. NO WAY. Very solid construction and the blade stays very sharp. The blades metal is very thick compared to other diggers I've used (nomad Root Slayer). Very satisfied and would highly recommended

This shovel is heavy, comes with a cover for the blade. And whoever breaks this shovel obviously got a defective one or tried to lift a boulder... because this shovel will withstand a beating. Over time it may weaken but the welds are nicely done and the shovel is extremely sturdy. Definitely worth the money for someone tired of buying shovels for 20$ and having the blade bend or having the shovels handle snap under light pressure

I have been using this shovel several times a week for over 6 months.. I am very rough with the shovel using it in areas with a lot of stones and thick roots and it performes flawlessly and has maintained its edge and and the shaft is as straight as the day it arrived, Also the offset scoop really helps when wearing bulky boots in the Bad weather. I wish it came in more subdued colors because as you can see my brown spray paint doesn’t last do to all the use, but it is no big deal.-David

I have 3, maybe 4, other shovels. They all cost much less. This White's Ground Hawg shovel is fantastic. I could have saved a lot of money, and enjoyed metal detecting much more if I would have bought this one first. All though I probably would never have appreciated it if I had not used the others first. Perfect length, extra sturdy, perfect size and very very sharp.

The shovel feels like it’s all one piece which means when you’re Digging You can put a ton of force on it and not have to worry about it snapping or Bending for that matter

Have used this shovel over a year now. Decent shovel, I like the length <I'm a taller guy>. Works great in softer soils, however like all the other posts it will bend quite easily. I have to remember not to over force it. When it does brake I will just weld a thicker handle on it. Could have been built better for the money......

Love my shovel great color won’t lose easy

This shovel obliterated thick roots about an inch to 1 1/2" thick and bigger. Makes digging a nice size plug easy, and the weight is a little heavy but that means it's solid and lends itself to chopping power. I also use it as a walking stick. Great shovel, worth every penny, zero complaints.
