Powerful performance improvement
Not listed, Eureka 4716 AVZ Pet vac - fits perfectly, works great. I knew it was the right belt from the part number even though the old vac isn't in the list. Did not come in a genuine Eureka bag - who cares? It's a part and it works. Installed in under 90 seconds, but that's in part because it's easy with my vac, 2 screws, pop out the roller, put the belt on. Before the old belt actually broke, the vac wasn't working that great. I figured it was just failing, very old and it's useful life was up. Then I started reading that belts should be replaced often. It's true. Always figured that was just to sell more belts! Nope. The vac works like a beast now. Got up pet hair I didn't know was there, plus deeply embedded debris - yuck, but we all have it. If your vac isn't up to snuff, try a cheap belt replacement. I was considering buying a new vacuum - stupid! Now I don't have to. Guess even an old man can learn new things.

Destroyed in less than 30 seconds.
Purchased these belts as a replacement for my 20 plus year old Eureka vacuum. Believe it or not it was/is still running the original belt but started to make a squeak sound when first started. So I figured I would get a new belt. After installed the new belt I started vacuum and it immediately started to squeal very loudly, mush louder then the old belt and it didn’t stop. A few second later I could smell burning rubber. The new belt was destroyed. I didn’t waste my time with the second belt. I tool the original and scuffed up the friction surface with some sandpaper and did the same to the brush where it engages the belt. No squeaks at all am I’m once again functional.

Good Vacuum Cleaner Belts
These genuine Eureka vacuum cleaner belts work well, and they are also very easy to install. The Eureka belts are a little thicker than some aftermarket belts that I have tried, so they should last longer. Unfortunately, when I received my order the package was already open, and one of the belts was missing. However, Amazon refunded my entire purchase price, and told me to keep the 1 belt that I did receive. I recommend these belts, but just be aware that 1 of the belts may be missing when you order the "2 pack."

Easy fix
I accidentally sucked in one of our workout rubber bands while vacuuming and as a result severed the belt in our Eureka vacuum cleaner. After that, it turned on just fine and the setting for the hand held tools was working, but there was virtually no suction to clean the floors. This belt connects the brush roller to the motor shaft, which I'm assuming is the case for all vacuum cleaners. You turn it on, motor shaft spins, which makes the belt spin the brush roller, which brushes dirt from the floor to the suction. You will have to unscrew 4 screws and take off the panel to get to this belt. It's not that hard and you should do it every so often so you can free the brush roller from all the hair that gets tangled there. I just realized that if you're looking at this product, you probably know what you're doing. Anyways, long story short, for only a few dollars spent on these belts, I was able to repair the vacuum and it's back to it's working form. Plus now I have an extra one for the next time I vacuum something I shouldn't and tear the belt in the future. Good luck.

Worked like new.
Time for a belt change. The original Eureka belt lasted about 5 years. The brush wasnt turning. Took the top off, sure enough broken belt. After cleaning everything up and installing the new belt. With the top off. I clamped down both ends of the brush roller in place, and turned it on with the cover off, to see everything worked right and tracking straight. Yes I wore safety glasses just in case. These belts are like the originals, just a rubber belt with no cord reinforcement inside. Mine model is #AS2013a. In the picture it has Eureka on the front of the bag, on the back in small letters it says Electrolux.

Inherited a "broken vacuum" for free, works like new after this easy fix
The previous owner's of our house left this really nice Eureka vacuum for us because it wasn't working. It only took me 5 minutes to determine the old belt was bad. I didn't think I'd have luck finding a replacement locally so I checked here first. It was exactly the right fit and now the vacuum works like new!

Perfect replacement - brought my vacuum back to life
I was ready to throw out my older Eureka bagless vacuum. The suction was poor and I wasn't always sure the beater was working well. I purchased new filters for the canister which immediately gave me more suction power. But then the belt broke on the beater bar.. Couldn't find the right size anywhere and I no longer had the instruction manual. The belts didn't show a stock number.I took a chance and ordered these. They looked too small when I took them out of the bag, but I installed the first one and it didn't take a lot of effort to pull the beater bar back in place (unlike my old Kenmore which required brute strength to stretch the belt). The vacuum now works like it's new out of the box. Didn't realize even if the belt isn't broken, it had stretched over time.Highly recommend these belts. will probably order more as spares (they come two in a package).
