This stuff is amazing. I had tried leather honey, leather creme, and other products i cannot remember as they were pretty much useless. I have leather jacket, gloves and shoes. I used it on all of them. Amazing results. Lets compare it to the other products:Leather honey: pricey and doesn't actually soak into leather. Doesn't refresh leather after getting wet, just makes it crispy. Doesn't soak in at all, just stays on top. People swear by it, but i have bought it twice, from 2 different places, and it doesn't seem to work for me.Leather creme: makes my leather too slick after using it. Too shiny (if that is possible) makes leather look plasticy and cheap. Doesn't soak in for 24 hours, so cannot wear item for a full day before protected. Also doesn't improve water resistance.Skidmores: Improves leather softness, water resistance and smells nice. It is a bit oily, but after you put it on leather, it soaks it up nicely. The water resistance was noticeably better. I do reapply after jacket is exposed to heavy rain (in Arizona when it rains, it POURS) I also use it on my leather shoes and my volvo's leather seats. The large container will last a lot longer than i thought. A LOT longer. I treated 3 jackets, 3 seats (2 front and 1 rear bench seat in my Volvo V70) 6 (pairs) shoes, 3 pairs of leather gloves and 2 purses and am still above 50%. Makes me want to buy more leather to use this with. I haven't recommended a leather treatment product before this because none deserved it. This one definitely does.Note: i did use this on different types of leather, including deerskin and elkskin, and works very well on those as well as traditional leather

Great product. Has kind of a pleasant medicinal smell. I'm sad I didn't think to take before photos because the difference is amazing! The color is def darker than before but the chairs were so old, faded and dried out that I honestly think the darker color is probably closer to the original anyway. The leather is very soft now! Sitting in the chairs is so much more comfy. I kept being afraid they'd split any moment before the treatment and now they have a more natural elastic give to the leather. We used a little more than half of the 40 oz container on two big leather chairs and I'm glad I went heavy with the application. Took a while and my arms were sore from doing them both at once and I also went back over and buffed them the next day with a dry cloth and it gave them a nice sheen. Great stuff. Very happy with the results. You might think it's expensive but look up how much it costs to reupholster or replace leather furniture and it suddenly looks like a steal.

The reviews for this product were, I thought a bit over the top when I read them. "Best Leather product ever" and "Can't believe how good this stuff works on leather!" and on and on, so I decided to pay a couple of extra dollars and see for my self. The leather seat on my Honda CB1100 was 3 years old and never been properly treated. It was still nice and soft but was a bit faded. I opened the can and was surprised at how fluid the cream was. Almost the consistancy of honey. I used a small dab of cream from the lid and to my utter amazement, that small amount not only did the entire seat but, in less than 5 mins the leather looks and smells like fresh leather. You know that lovely sweet smell that that really good leather has!I was absolutely Gob Smacked. I can honestly say that Skidmore's is the finest Leather product I have ever used and can't believe how easy and beautiful all my leather goods look now. At first I thought the cream was overpriced but after reviving everything I could find leather at the house, I haven't used more that 3% of the can. It really, is AMAZING. And this one can is gonna last us a looooong time.For me, it is not possible to tell you how beautiful that leather Motorcycle seat is again and that leather smell, yeah, you know THAT smell! After many years motorcycling, and being an all weather rider, facing rain, snow, boiling sunshine, I’ve tried almost everything advertised as the best. Until now... My leathers were old, dry and weathering bad. To be fair they have endured a hard life but one I can think of many a happy ride, ... anyway, I bought some ‘wheelers natural leather cleaner’ and removed the dirt from my jacket first, lots of dirt there I thought was clean, turned out was filthy and my white rag became brown and dirty, then once dried from cleaning, I used this product to breathe new life back into my tired and dry leather. Wow, once I’d wiped off the excess after rubbing it in circular motions, after about 10 mins I buffed out the excess and let to air dry, as there was a strong odour. I came back several hours later and thought someone had replaced my dry, stiff leather jacket with a new one, as it felt like new. There was no sticky residue left but I left it to soak in and evaporate prior to using their waterproof wax, which adds an extra layer of protection from this UK weather.My advice would be think of your leather as your hands, wash, dry and add lotion (this product), then allow to soak in once excess has been ‘buffed’ out. It will look shiner than before whilst soaking in, but that’s gonna fade to a Matt finish once it’s soaked in and breathed new life into that leather.Best product I’ve ever used and after using literally everything advertised over the 30 years, from meguairs, autoglym, glinting, this is by far the best yet. Definitely highly recommended by us and will be sticking with this brand for the future. Only regret is not knowing about it sooner.
