These shoes are gorgeous and comfortable. Make sure you break them in first as the leather at the heel is rather stiff but just put some greasy lotion on the back of your ankles and you should be fine. Also, I wear a 10 in boots and 9.5 in sandals and these were too small in the 9.5 and the 10 fit perfectly. So you may need to go up a half size. Love these sandals!

I bought a 9.5w and these shoes fit perfectly!! I normally waver between a 9.5 and a 10, wide or regular, depending on the shoe. With a strappy sandal like this I usually buy wide for comfort and I'm glad I did with these, very comfortable in the foot area. Product came as described and I'm very happy with the style and height. Word to the wise, if you're like me and wear these without proper calluses on your ankles, make sure to put something there to protect the skin from rubbing. The ankle strap is adorable, but without the right protection, you'll likely get some cuts.

Felt tight but fine for the first few hours. By hour eight I was in pain. I have a normal foot - exact size, not wide feet, not narrow - just a standard, boring foot. And even for me the strap across the front was a killer.Having said that, I only knocked one star off because they are SUPER cute and otherwise comfortable. I still love them, but will have to be mindful about how frequently I wear them and for how long!

I needed a comfortable shoe for a recent wedding. Decided to give these ankle strap chunky heel beauties a chance. They were a little pricier than some other’s I had seen but something about them caught my eye. I practiced getting my ankles used to those straps before the wedding and to my astonishment they were so comfortable. LOVE THEM

These shoes are cute, and the style is just what I was looking for. But when I first received the shoes, they came in a repackaged box saying the original was damaged. No big deal, but strange. I open them up and find one of the heels is scuffed on the back which was a huge disappointment for the price. I also realized these shoes have almost no traction on the bottom. I was planning to return them but sat on it for a few days because I didn't want to go through the process. Then I tried them on and was moving around when I heard this popping noise. One of the heels was slightly off in sizing (something I could have delt with though) so I thought it was from the movement. But I soon realized it was actually the sole of the shoe! They were glued poorly and the popping was the sole popping apart every time I moved my foot up. These seem to be such low quality! I have always thought Steve Madden was a good brand and am hoping my pair was a one off, but I have ultimately decided I will find a new brand for these shoes due to how much these disappointed me.

The description is misleading. It says it’s 100% leather, then says PU upper and lower. Huh? How can it be both? Turns out there is a thin “layer” of real leather attached to the footbed of the shoe. The bottom of your foot touches leather, but nothing else. I don’t know … this is already an open shoe, so it’s doubtful that little bit of leather is any good. It’s really thin leather and will probably wear out quickly. So, this is really a PU (fake leather) shoe. Is it pretty? Yup. Is the heel good? Yup. Is it well made? Yup. Is it well designed? Eh, almost. The back of the shoe that cups the heel goes up a little too high; some people may find it uncomfortable, and I had to put padding on it. The tiny buckles are also fixed into position, so you can’t adjust them if they hit the bony part of your ankle. I wear them and they feel okay for most of the day. I’m glad I got them on sale, because they would not have been worth the regular price. An average shoe — 2.5 stars bumped up to 3 just because I made it work for me.

My daughter got a pair of these to wear to her brother’s (my son’s) wedding. They fit her (size 6) perfectly and looked great. I originally has a pair of shoes with higher heels than these, but decided they didn’t look great and wouldn’t be comfortable. i ordered these shoes in a different color than my daughter’s (they come in a multitude of colors). They were so perfect. Very comfy and just dressy enough.

I normally wear a size 9 but they only had 8.5 and they fit perfect! Super bright, cute, going out heel that won't kill my feet (I assume because they are as comfy as heels get when I tried them on and the heel isn't very high... I haven't worn them for a long period of time)
