It is very sharp
I love to do a little cooking and once in Spain see a large kleever knife but did not want to bring it through customs.Then surfing Amazon looking at good knives I found this and for the price found it to be really sharp easy to clean and makes things like cutting onions tomatoes even soldiers for dippy eggs .cutting sausages for a casserole ,cheese in slices or dicing steak.You name it and it's sliced .Use to chop fresh mint from the garden with sugar salt and vinegar basically anything and it keeps its edge . Very easy to clean but obviously has to be treated with respect & away from children.
