I like it alot keeps hot food hot and cold food cold… My middle kid takes it everyday for lunch. Metal on the inside. This is the first year the this brand so far it has been great. No problems I run it through the dishwasher and everything is good.

Great product and responsive and caring seller
I posted a 3 star review and noted a few challenges and the seller immediately reached out via email to see how they could help ensure my satisfaction. They are a small family run business and I really appreciated the personal touch they provided.Upon further use and review of the instructions, I am updating to 5 stars. The thermos is a great size and holds heat well when preheated and filled. To pre-heat, put some hot water in the thermos for about 5 minutes before adding food. I found best results when filling it with food/soup rathe than only 1/4 to 1/3 full.I tested the heat retention without preheating by filling it with boiling liquid (210F) in the AM and then checking the temp eleven hours later. The temp was 133 degrees F which was still warm enough to drink and enjoy without being too hot.Ensure that the threads are clean and dry before attaching the lid to guarantee a leak proof experience.

Works Okay
I have recently started using this as my normal coffee cup because it does a great job of keeping my coffee warm until I have finished it; however, I have to be very careful if I want to use it as a thermos and to transport hot liquids from place to place. The lid has to be aligned just right to avoid spilling, and it is somewhat difficult to get it on there correctly. A lot of thermoses do make your drinks taste a little metallic, and this one does not do that which is great. Overall, this works well, but take extra caution when screwing the lid on.

Super Easy for Kids
My niece started kindergarten and was struggling to open her original thermos. She easily opens this and loves lunchtime now!

Returned - 5 year old couldn’t open it
We own 3 other different brands of hot food containers. I needed more since my youngest started preschool. I bought two different brands with handles thinking they would be a lot easier to open. My almost 6 year old couldn’t open either of the ones with handles it so we had to return it. Looked nice though. Can’t speak to it otherwise.

My 6 year old can open it
I was looking for a food thermos for my 6 year old and it was hard to find one that she could open on her own at school. Luckily we came across this one. The handle makes it easy for her to twist open. I also like that the rubber seals under the lid are removeable and can be cleaned properly. I made the mistake of purchasing another brand where the rubber seals were not removeable and then all the food gets trapped in the seal and it gets gross as it can’t be fully cleaned. Good thing I found this thermos.

The Lid Holds Water
I bought these to keep soup warm for my kids' lunches, and they do keep soup warm. However, these have what I consider to be a fatal flaw - the lid has the ring seal you'd expect, and also a smaller seal in the middle of the lid that apparently opens into a hollow space in the lid. After a few washes, I can hear water sloshing around inside the lid, despite handwashing per the instructions, and there is NO WAY to get that water out and it never dries. I'm fairly confident it's probably growing all sorts of nasties in there since there is no way to get the water out. Yuck! I've had to replace these with a model that doesn't have this design flaw.
