2023 Retractable Car Phone Holder -【New Version】 Multifunctional Rearview Mirror Holder, 360° Rotatable Rear View Mount for All Phones

I've been looking for a cellphone holder that won't go on my vent, I had a vent holder that broke my vent. The ones on the windshield glass melt in the sun heat, the cup holder take up too much space and the position is not convenient. There are other alternatives but non of them fit my car model or my needs. Then I found this one and almost didn't buy it because of some comments I read but I'm so glad I went with my instincts and purchased it anyway cause this has really worked out for me. I've had no issues with it. My friend saw it and said it would be perfect for her car as well and will be purchasing it. I really hope it lasts, I'll be updating this comment in a year.Update 1/24/2024This holder broke two weeks ago. One of the issues of this holder was the sliding off the mirror, it needs a better grip mechanism. Then the back piece of the actual phone holder just broke one day all the sudden. It's not a bad item but it needs some changes so it can last longer, not sure it lasted a whole year.

Cheaply made and definitely not made to be a phone holder in a car. The ball swivel part where your phone goes completely broke off about 25mins after i put it up and went for a drive looks like it melted or something. It was only 80 degrees that day. Luckily i have a great screen protector n case on my phone and it didnt break cracked the screen protector but my phone was fine. So dont buy this its plastic and your phone weighs more than it does no support there.

Works exactly as intended. At first I was worried the expanding bracket that attaches to the rear view mirror just wasn’t going to fit over my Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon mirror,..as it is very “thick” compared to a traditional “thinner” car rear view mirror. But this attachment has a really nice feature that allows you to “expand” the clamps so it just did get wide enough to attach over the top and back. And then it is definitely adjustable as advertised in various positions like the hands of a clock, but I just wanted mine to hang straight down in a more conventional “6:00 position”. Hope that all makes sense. Any way this all allows me to use a cell phone and attach it in the center of my dash/windshield in clear view, without blocking my vision of the road. Then on my 2005 vehicle (with no Bluetooth radio) I can plug 5e phone into a cigarette lighter and with a cheap transmitter listen to Pandora thru my old radio….as well as utilize my phone for gps/navigation. So far so good and initially I would highly rate this product. By the way I didn’t rate it at all for suction because it doesn’t utilize any, which is exactly why I wanted it!!! I’ve never liked those suction windshield mounts because they always fall off!! This one is extremely secure and will not fall off.

This mount works pretty well. the arm extension could come out a little further. The only issue I had installing is the mirror in my 2019 Atlas has auto sensing tech behind it and the housing of the mirror protrudes a little into where this device clamps to the mirror. I was able to get it on but it is just barely on, had to mount it a little crooked to get it to stay on. So far so good though.

This product does not fit all vehicle mirrors. I have a Buick and it will not fit on my mirror thank goodness I was able to use it in my husband‘s truck but he doesn’t like it because it’s hard to maneuver and get it to hold it while you’re trying to get it on and off the clip he said that a lot of times if he’s not holding the phone when he’s releasing or trying to get it to attached to the car holder phone it will drop the cell phone I won’t buy one again

I loved this thing when it showed up! So much better than vent clip or windshield/ dashboard mounted phone I’ve purchased over the years. Installing product was easy and simple and my rear view mirror is old style with flip lever in the middle for nighttime driving so I had to move my mount to left or right slightly bc product is designed for auto dim feature without the lever and for about a month product was great no issues at all, easy to use, didn’t block view out of windshield and phone screen is in my line of sight while driving without having to look away from the road, so much easier to drive and use apps like maps etc (my car is limited in regards to hands free use bc it’s not an expensive car. The phone screen is so much closer and easier to see and touch (if necessary while driving) and felt so much safer and my phone was so much more secure and stable with this product but now all of a sudden it started to loosen up on the mirror at 1st thought bump in the road or hard stopping might be causing it to shift and I started taking my phone case off while in product to cut weight down and every day it would still fall off almost 1-5 miles into a drive, no bumps or anything in the road and no hard stopping (I’m paying attention now so I know what/when it suddenly gets loose and falls off mirror with a very expensive (in my opinion) iPhone-without the case on! Last week it fell off and now my iPhone glass back is broken into pieces, still works but I was very angry as you can imagine $1000 phone and $15-$20 holder is to blame 😡 I took the product out and retracted all extensions and levers to fit in product packaging box for return and a nasty email (due to cracked my phone!) that’s when I finally noticed the problem, the top two spreadable arms that attach to top of rear view mirror were slightly bent up and no longer able to hold the product on the mirror (not much maybe 100-110 degrees instead of 90 degrees) and hard to tell/see when looking at the product for a reason why it suddenly wasn’t secured to mirror… all in all it’s a very good idea and much safer than other phone mounts but the fact that the product materials couldn’t hold the weight of an iPhone 11 standard size - no + or anything with a pretty cheap phone case , bump and drop guard around the edges only not an otter box or rugged phone case like life proof etc and wore out or bent so much so quickly and broke the glass on an expensive iPhone!!!! is unacceptable and should not be allowed to be sold if the weight of my device is using mount for a month or slightly more than that before product is useless. I will be trying to get a free replacement and I do I will leave my phone case on no matter what and give it one more chance (maybe I got a faulty one) but if same thing happens again I’ll be telling everyone DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT it isn’t worth spending $1 on if it doesn’t work as advertised

This is the best one I have found, for my old F250 my only complaint, wish I had purchased this years ago
