Very solid speaker with outstanding sound for its size. Let me first clarify this review by saying I have quite a few Bluetooth speakers, I view seeing how long it takes for me to destroy them as kind of a hobby at this point! I travel and hike quite a bit so I tend to go through them pretty quickly given the extreme beating they take on a regular basis.That being said this is the first speaker I have found that has been able to put up with my overall rough life style and at the same time provide a level of sound that is both loud enough to entertain and impromptu party while in the woods or on the side of an mountain & long lasting enough to keep the party going well into the evening!Pros:-Suuuuuper long battery life: The built-in battery is rated at something like 20hrs but in practical use at about 60-70% volume I had no issue getting their multiple days without recharging.-Rugged design: This puppy is both IP67 water/dust reaistant and has a built-in shock resistant cover. Suffice it to say I have taken this on multiple mountain biking excursions and felt comfortable enough to let it just dangle from my handle bars!-Solar charging: I think this one needs no explanation but nevertheless the solar panel really just adds the exclamation mark to this whole package and really seals the deal for me. It’s not strong enough to rely on as the ONly charging source, but it is more than capable of keeping a full charge topped off thru a day of continuous use and like I said gives u the ability to keep the party going well into the night!Cons:-Rubber flaps covering the ports are not the greatest quality and I do find myself having to check them periodically after rough activity to make sure they are still shut.-Water resistant is not water proof! I found this out the hard way after submerging this in a steam. That being said after letting it dry for a couple hours IT CAME BACK TO LIFE!Overall I would definitely have to say this is one of the more solid ruggedized Bluetooth speakers I have come across. Add in the solar panel charging availability and this is really a no-brainer for anyone who likes to be outdoors and or the college kid looking for something to keep the tunes going all day at the beach. For the price you can’t lose!

Works great! Could use a bit more range. Volume is very good.Sound quality is very good.Haven't tried the mic yet.Since it is for outside use and you have to leave it out there to charge they should use screws that don't rust in a week.Update:Great customer service! They contacted me about the screws and offered to replace the unit. Also, the range issue is only with my iPad, not an iPhone, etc. so probably more a problem with the iPad's range, not this unit.

This is a great portable Bluetooth speaker! It is surprisingly loud, paired with my phone instantly (some cheap Bluetooth devices are a struggle) and even has a built in flashlight and controls are pretty intuitive. (Note: I had trouble getting it to work, you need to double click the button to turn it on or off, it says so in the directions) It looks every bit as good in person as it does in the pictures! Some items like this look good in pics. but when you get it in your hand the "fit and finish" are not good. This item is solid and seems really well built. The unit has good bass for a portable speaker as well. The higher frequencies come out the front, the bass out the back. If you like more bass just turn it around. Overall I think this is a great product for the money.

This Dreamix Bluetooth speaker worked well for one day. One shower to be more specific. It sat on a window ledge 4 feet from source of music and was lightly sprayed with shower water, not submerged. The bluetooth signal experienced only minor interference. Next day it was dead. I re-read the manual and saw that it stays on while bluetooth signal is connected and I was connected all night so I recharged it for about 5 hours and I still can not get it to respond normally. The blue light turns on at a dim level. It makes no sound when appearing to turn on or off. The flash light is now an intermittent option. It won't go into discoverable mode. It did sound good for the one use I got out of it. I feel this must be a factory dud that got by QC but when it comes to electronics I rarely give them a second chance. I'm afraid I will be returning this speaker and trying something different. I'm superstitious that way.
