It's a very cool diary but the description is misleading. It is not for 7 yr old at all. I would say 12 years old or older would be more correct.

A fun and cute gift

Love the book. Bought it for a friend's daughter. Only problem I have with it is one page has a drawing of a girl who is clearly white. I think the book would not lose any of its charm without that page. It needs to be inclusive and when I looked through it at first I was worried that the drawing would be all through it. Glad it was just one page.

I remember the really cool interactive one I got when I was her age and I used it up and still have it to look back on and laugh at as an adult. This book had a lot of interactive pages and fun lists to make, along with being able to get creative and write stories/short stories. Not just a blank page but pages that will allow her to write out her feelings. Just super cute. Couldnt have asked for a better diary and really good quality as well.

Overall this little diary was perfect for my 9 y/o daughter. The questions and pages are super cute and she loves them. My only complaint is that the first time I picked it up and looked at it, gently tugging on the lock to make sure it was locked... the lock separated into two halves. Ten minutes and some super glue later it was fixed, but just know that the lock is barely glued together out of the package. The book itself seems well made with good quality printing so no complaints there.

The media could not be loaded.  my 8yo daughter has spent hours enjoying this 'diary'. many prompts throughout to hold her interest. she loves the idea of her diary being locked... however, the lock is super cheesy and flimsy; cheap. but the diary itself has been a wonderful purchase! (would be a great pre-teen/teen gift!)

I purchased this diary for a birthday present for my daughter’s friend who is turning 11. I am in love with this journal and feel like it is perfect for this age. I am now ordering one for my daughter for Cmas. I like how the pages help you document your life and who you are and the people you surround yourself with. This will be my go to gift for birthdays in the future. (I wish they had one for my son!)!Great price and I paired it with dollar store smell felt pens. Spent less than 12$ and it looks as thought I spent more. Win!
