RYE Whiskey Ingredient KIT and Recipe

Yet another excellent recipe!
Tried their bourbon recipe first and was so impressed with the quality that I had to try this one next. You absolutely can't go wrong with these kits. As long as you know your still and how to control it, you can get a lot of alcohol out of these without even adding sugar to the mash. Just remember, the key is to first boil all of the starch out of the corn first and then maintain 145 to 150 degrees after you add the malted barley to convert all of the starch to sugar. I let mine cool to room temperature overnight and then add the yeast. Works like a charm every time!
