Good heel support. Comfortable and flexible.
This product was used as a tennis shoe and so far it has been terrific. It looks good but more importantly it functions effectively. It offers cushioning support, is sturdy but also flexible, and provides the kind of fit needed to ensure swift pace or jarring movement. A great purchase!

Skeptical but it's good
When I first tried them on they LOOKED huge but then I realized it was a wide base and it all makes sense. Needs some breaking in and careful tightening. They're not every-day wear. I love them in yellow. They "hurt good" is what I would say. Solid performer for me. I play paddle tennis with them.

Cool look but hot
Pros: really cool style. I like the colors a lot and have received lots of compliments. The fit is really good and offers plenty of support without being too cushiony.Cons: the ankle tab in the back is very rigid when new and took several wears before it stopped irritating my ankle. Definitely wear high socks for the first few days. These shoes are not breathable. The material isn’t mesh, but a plastic/rubber shell. If your feet run hot or you plan to wear them for a long period of time, I would pick a different shoe.

This is the RIGHT shoe for Pickleball
My husband plays pickleball 7days a week for 4hrs. This is his shoes he wears and he loves it. He said great stability bc it is wide. He bought one size up. This is his second pair as he plays a lot so they dont really last which is fine. You are supposed to change out shoes often anyways. Highly recommend bc the fit is great once you play for a long time, your feet will swell but this shoes allows room for comfort. Traction is great on the concrete court. Jumping is great as the supports prevents you from getting an ankle injury. He had another pair from Asics and it game him an immediate ankle sprain because that shoe the heel was too narrow. Get the Addison wide heel shoes, it is best for jumping.

Achilles Heal is the Achilles Support
First they are about as ugly as they look on Amazon. I feel like I should be stealing my 5 year old niece’s Frozen princess dress and tutu to wear them. Definitely getting strange looks at the gym!Second there is ZERO breathability. I don’t think anyone is wearing these at the Australian Open or the flesh would melt off their bones.Lastly and most importantly on court:The rear support is so tall and so thick that any stopping motion and any running causes immediate rubbing and discomfort. This isn’t something that one can wear into this shoe. They are almost impossible to put on. My deep water scuba gear is easier to get on and off. A space suit is easier to get in and off and looks better.I think Addidas wanted to make a statement shoe and they did. The problem is that the statement is that the shoes are more important than the wearer/player. And to me that is completely wrong.I’ve ordered a different shoe and will likely be switching brands.Don’t waste a penny on these!

A Huge Improvement over “Tennis Shoes”
Much better than wearing regular tennis shoes to the court- the soles allow a perfect balance of grip and slide (if you’re trying to pull a Djokovic) and if anything have an over abundance of ankle support. Others have complained that the laces should go up one higher but in my several months of ownership they are more than adequate. Fair warning though, these will require about 4-5 hours of break in.Pros- great shoe for hardcourt playing, asymmetric lacing takes pressure off the top of your foot, true to size if narrow footed. Sticky/Tacky soles still present after countless hours of playtimeCons- narrower footbed may require sizing up, quite stiff at first several hours of wearing

Poor Stitching for lace holders.
I bought these tennis shoes May of 2023 and they have performed great. However; the stitching for the lace holders ripped off both sneakers within days of each other. Very poor design. The lace is put through a piece of flimsy fabric that is stitched to the shoe instead of the shoe having lace holes itself.I assume tying the shoes throughout the year caused the stitching to become weak and it finally busted with using little force to simply tie the shoe. These shoes are not cheap. These are highly rated on multiple website as the most “durable” tennis shoe on the market. The was not the case when it came to the poor design described above.I play an intense game called 1-wall handball and these shoes hold up the best Iv ever seen but now I can’t tie the shoes anymore. For a 120.00 shoe (adidas.com) you’d think you wouldn’t have to worry about shoe lace basin busting off the shoe. Now I have to buy another pair and I will be looking elsewhere.I’ll provide pictures soon…
