Bathroom always smelled musty and damp in the apartment no matter what I did. Never left wet towels or clothes, just the damp rugs after showering. But candles, deodorizers, nothing seemed to work. After just three days of using the dehumidifier its a world of difference. Now all I smell are the scented candles. Empty the storage unit every 3-4 days. Never close to full. But why leave the water sitting if that was the issue from the start I guess the piping needs some repair work but primary issue resolved.

This is by far not as powerful as a large unit, but this works really well. It is quiet and does have a sleep setting which I like

I live in sunny so cal so it’s not a place with unbearable humidity. However, my kitchen gets quite humid because of the frequent steaming I do instead of microwaving, and I have a wall directly facing the sun. I gave this a try. I wouldn’t say I feel the difference because it’s not a frequent feeling I’m familiar with. However, I can say I have to empty the water collection compartment once a week! So I know a lot of humidity is being removed from the air. I have not experienced any leaks or malfunction. For the price, I knew I wasn’t going to get a “turbo” button so I’m okay with that. If you just want a simple dehumidifier that does its job in a small room, this one works.

We live in the south and had this running for a few days at 75F and 75% humidity, and it barely pulled out 1/10th a tank per day. Was expecting it to fill up at least every 2 days based on what the manual said its capabilities are. It didn't even make a dent in the rooms humidity %.It's certainly not quiet enough to run in the bedroom either while sleeping.It also turns itself off after 24 hours. There's very minimal manual controls.I'll be returning this item for a different model.

This product is amazing! It covers the square footage I need and there is definitely a huge difference! You wont be disappointed!

I bought this unit on a lightning deal. The pictures and literature made it seem very attractive. When it arrived at my Po box it fit in one of the small parcel boxes and didn't require for me to see a post master to get it.The performance is mediocre. During a rain storm with my swamp cooler on, it barely managed to produce 3 ounces of water over an 8 hour period with my hygrometer showing 91 percent humidity.The one I bought 15 years ago would produce a half gallon of water in an 8 to 12 hour period in a humid florida summer.I bought this unit to reduce humidity while running my swamp cooler in the Arizona monsoons. I really don't notice much of a difference over not using a humidifier and not using this one.All in all if I had to do it over, I would not have bought this unit and saved my money for a real humidifier. Do yourself a favor and pay another $100 for one that performs.

This thing works so well I bought a second. It's decent sized and fairly quiet. Think white noise sounds. Highly recommend.

buttons are confuseing you push the button to turn on and wait? I push them over and over and finally comes on, guess thats how it works ? over all works well its a little noisey but does the job
