Temesso Wooden Planter for Garden Decoration – Half Whiskey Barrel – Natural Wood (without Accessories)

Lools fab, I'm so glad I bought this, I may buy another. Very sturdy and goes great with my tropical beach style garden It is heavy as others have said, but very easy to roll into position.

Used for a washing line holder then turned into a planter. Came quick. Good quality. I'd suggest opening it as soon a sit arrives to air out the alcohol smell.

Barrel arrived early. It is very heavy indeed! It’s nearly twice as big as my other half barrel. The poor delivery driver had to lift it down 20 steps to my front door in poring rain. I rolled it round the back and removed the polythene wrapping to let the rain at it. It is at the corner of my patio where it will remain for its lifetime. It’s heavy enough when empty! It will have my Rhododendron in it. Great value.

Little bit scruffy but easily smartened up with a coat of creosote. Bigger and better value than many from garden centres but take no notice of the description. They are described as accommodating 80 litres…the two I bought have taken 150 litres of compost each and that isn’t taking account of the significant root balls which means overall capacity is actually around a very healthy 180 litres.

Absolutely love these. Bought 2 to use as planters. A quick paint with decking oil and the barrels look lovely. Reassuringly heavy. Would highly recommend.

The half-whisky planters arrived ahead of the delivery time and are of a very high quality.

These are sturdy and look like they will last for many years. Brought to replace one we'd had for 10 years. This one is a better quality and slightly bigger. Stank of whisky. If not using straight away, do read instruction leaflet about not letting it dry out.
