adidasMen's UPF Wide Brim Golf Hat

huge brim = great sun protection; not XL as listed, but I always use the chin strap and its all good
Until I got this hat, I wore 7-3/4 size boonie hats religiously on my daily walks in the AZ sun. But the huge brim on this hat provides much more sun protection and better head-top ventilation, so now I use this hat exclusively, even though the fit is tighter; I just always use the chin strap, which is necessary anyway because it is often quite windy where I live and hike. The adjustment clasp on the chin strap is higher quality (and stronger) than the ones on my boonie hats (the latter sometimes slip loose). It even survived a saturating downpour w/o damage (brim warping, etc.).update 2024/03: I'm still wearing the first of the two digital camo colored hats I originally bought in 2022 on daily hikes. Aside from the aforementioned saturating downpour, it hasn't been washed, and is a little sweat-stained on the inside headband, but otherwise looks and feels almost new. The 2nd hat hasn't been removed from its mfgr baggie yet.Trying to get an even cooler hat, I bought a white version of the same product in 2023/06, but I returned it as the brim was noticeably flimsier than my older digital camo models.

Exceptional quality
I’ve been searching for a while for a high quality sun hat for fishing. I have also returned many because of the quality. This hat by far is the best I’ve tried. At first I thought the brim was too big but then I realised how well it protected me from the sun. The brim is also thick and sturdy unlike most other sun hats out there. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The size does run a bit small but I have a small head and it fits me perfectly. If you between sizes rather take the L-XL as a lot of the reviews complained about it being too tight and it also has a chin strap if loose. The digital camo print looks awesome and not loud at all. Highly recommend.

Awesome Hat! (but runs small).
I usually wear a Medium to Large hat. this was listed as Large to Extra large. Well it is so tight on my head, even without cinching down the size adjuster that a 20+ MPH wind could not dislodge it. I would say that the L/XL is a Medium to Medium Large in other brands. The hat itelf is just awesome and vents well, looks decent, and protects me from intense sun. Recommeded, but if you need a true large or XL, it may not work for you.

Perfect protection from the sun.
Great fitting hat. Firm and holds its shape. I like that it has a chin strap to hold it down when the winds are strong. It fits well and looks good. This is a perfect protection from the sun.

Great hat, but runs small
Looking for a new sun hat for golfing. This Addidas one looked like the one. Fabric was good. Brim was good. Only issue is that it runs small as does much of Addidas. I got the L/XL and it was a very tight fit, so much so that I needed to return it.

adidas UPF Wide Brim Golf Hat
Very nice hat. Very good quality. However, it is a bit small. It says small/medium and I think it is more like a small.

Good hat for some protection
Nice solid hat with wide brim. Maybe a little wider than I want but should be a great sun protector and seems sturdy.

Nice and loose on my head
I didn’t measure beforehand but got the L. I had previously gotten an S/M golf hat (Nike, not Adidas) and it was too tight. This one is a little loose but I’ll take it. No stress, just a chill hat with brim all the way around for sun protection.
