DritzBabyville Boutique Totally Trainers Pattern Booklet

Finished product was very nice.....but, I have been sewing or 40 years and found the instructions and photos very difficult to understand. There are so many assumptions made that the reader/sewer knows how or where or what to sew. When making one trainer I was stumped when the instructions said to sew the sides to the center....but gave zero instructions on how to do that. One instruction was to "leave a 1" tail" but it never said what that means (a tail?).The photos in the book are very small and do not illustrate what finished results should look like after steps.I had to make some changes to improve the design for my needs.Unless you have done a lot of sewing and have made baby diapers already then I wouldn't recommend this book/pattern.If you are an accomplished seamstress or tailor then prepare to use your experience to get through the project without thorough instructions or pictures.

Haven't had a chance to make a trainer yet however I'm excited to make ine once i master diaper making.

Easy to use

I had purchased this before, but lost the pattern templates. I love how these come out when finished!

Not exactly what I expected but still a great guide for those of us out there who have to get our craft on! Love it! Cannot wait to make hundreds of trainers!

Great pattern and booklet. Very well done. Can't wait to make some. Easy to understand with good tips included. I have already told sewing friends about it

Cute pattern!

I have been making cloth diapers using the Babyville Boutique "Cloth Diapers Made Easy" book with excellent success & was thrilled when I found this Trainer pattern book! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these Pull-up type cloth trainers & so does my "big boy" potty trainee! The patterns are really easy to understand & they assembled perfectly following the instructions. I love that I'm saving money and my little guy loves his new "undies"! Everyone tells me I should sell them as they are so adorable & I appreciate that BB gives express permission to sell my finished items using their patterns (as long as they are not mass produced), very nice of them! :) I definately recommend this book to any mom wishing to go the healthier & frugal "cloth" route! Note: I did find that the leg elastic recommended lengths were too big for my son's body (he's tall & slim), but it was super easy to adjust it. I just used the elastic lengths for the next size down... I have no complaints & am fully satisfied with this book!
