These beads worked perfectly with my nano-tip extensions and tinsel extensions. They have a sturdy hold (had my extensions in for 6 weeks before removing/moving up). They serve their purpose well, just be aware that they are tiny and easy to drop/lose. But it comes with a LOT so one or two lost ones wasnt a big deal.I bought them in two colors - dark brown and blonde

These are GREAT! Size is perfect! Big enough for my I tip & to hold a nice piece of my own thin hair. It holds enough hair u don't worry about it breaking off. Metal stayed color after 2-3 pinches. However after I opened & closed bead. 3 or 4 times paint chipped off. But who uses a bead that many times?Helpful Tip:*1 - Use pliers with teeth or with uu<slots to open my beads. The "teeth" hold the bead steady when ur trying to crimp it open. The smooth mouthed pliers slip off bead while I'm trying to open them. The slipping would tear my hair out. It also pinched my fingers raw by the end. So open with pliers that have those lines "teeth" along the opening.*2 - Use smooth edged pliers when closing beads! Pliers w/no teeth. I found using the teeth pliers for pinching bead closed mangles the bead.Problem with mangled beads are: when pinched closed they didn't get as flat as they fo when u use smooth pliers. A metal bead pinched flat & smooth hides in head better. It looks more realistic. Also they last longer & can be reused more than beads that have been opened & closed by teethed pliers. I found teethed pliers mangled the bead breaking them or making them sharp. They also took the paint off thd bead revealing a silver bead that looked obvious.So open with teeth pliers close with flat mouth. For me that means pink pliers open beads & red pliers close. I like that these are smaller than other micro beads but easier to work with than nano micro beads. My hair my hair color changed to be darker after I bought a lot of these in a lighter color. I was able to use a sharpie permanent marker to darken and it worked great. I highly recommend these because the little silicone lining stays in well NOT popping out like other brands have. Again these are very easy to work with and blend in well.

I love how tiny these beads are! I use them to attach the feather extensions I wear. They are so small and discreet. I took off a star because I am having trouble finding a loop/thread tool small enough to fit the bead and my hair when applying the bead. I have three different tools and none of them are small enough. I had to use floss to loop my hair through the bead, which is fine, but not the easiest. I tried to get a photo but the bead is so tiny the pic gets blurry getting any closer.

These are the absolute worst nano beads I have seen. They are NOT 3.0mm. They completely crumble when you apply pressure to close the beads, and I mean MINIMAL pressure makes them just fall apart. I can’t imagine how anyone was able till make these work. DO NOT BUY

The reason I am giving 3 star review is because they do not work for the itip extensions. The beard quality is good as well as very nice silicone lining but these are strictly for inserting feathers or very small tipped extensions. The inside of the bead with silicone is only 1 mm! The description can be a little confusing and kind of vague because you assume they are going to be 3 mm but that is not how they measure them they are measured by the width of the outside of the bead be sure to read description very carefully but if you are needing or using them for something very small these would work great, unfortunately they did not work out for me. Do not get confused by other reviews. They are not incorrect but it’s a very specific hair extension these will fit.

The rings are so tiny and definitely not 4mm. No I tip is going to fit in here. Even if you try to split the extension, the rings are simply impossible to work with. And if you manage to install them using the smallest amount of hair possible it will break your hair off.
