Detours Fremonster Flap Pannier (Canvas)

I love this bag! It's not huge but it fits everything I need for school and more. It has a neat pocket in the front and zipper pocket on the inside plus a laptop sleeve. It clips onto the rack easily and because it has handles on both sides you can handle it easily. I also like the style, it's a nice canvas and looks like a messenger bag. The only downside is that when carrying it, the clips dig into your side or back a little but it's not a deal breaker. I still carry it around school all the time and I love it!

Terrible. The flimsy plastic hooks that attach to the bike rack are virtually useless. On my 1.5 mile commute, I can rely on the bag falling off at least 3 times. I meet any small crack in the road with trepidation, fearful that the minor bumps will lead the pannier to tumble off. Already cracked my laptop case. Will be discontinuing use and looking for a better design. Also, the seller's return policy is unacceptable. I'd like to send back, having had the chance to use it for less than a month, but the seller will not accept, even with this ridiculous product defect.

First of all, this is a great bag, period! (Except I couldn't resist using an exclamation point.) I also just discovered a great additional use for the magnet in the flap. It keeps the bag in a perfectly open and upright position when it sticks to the metal locker in the locker room at work. I can get to my gear in a flash.

Outside pocket should have a zipper or other closure so it can be used other than to hold a "D" lock

The size, shape, and pockets are excellent for storage. However, one of the pannier clips fell off the first week I owned the bag, and the bag fell into the street as I was cycling.
