I was looking for a lower fat but tasty variety of crisps and was pleased to find Simply Roasted. They are perhaps a little pricey, but they are full of flavour in a subtle and rich way, not blasting one with additives as some makes do. The sour cream and bbq are pleasant and not too strong. Salted fairly light, cheese and onion rich and a good blend. truffle, well you have to like truffles! But highly recommend for those who need less fat but don't want less flavour.

The crisps are the best but sadly you don’t get an even number of each of the flavours. You only get two of the truffle and bbq which are the ones that most people buy these for as this is one of the only ways you can purchase those flavours on here

The taste is great. You can tell they have used good quality potatoes. These are a thick crisp with a fairly strong flavour to my taste. The crisps came well packaged, protected in a sturdy box. They are a premium price so ideal for a party or gathering where you want to serve something special

I tried the ready salted ones first. I should have measured a portion out. They are so delicious that it's hard to stop munching! Although are 50%less fat, it doesn't detract from the taste. They are exactly the right thickness and have a satisfying crunch. Highly recommend

I was looking forward to trying these but was left disappointed. The sea salt, mature cheddar & red onion and bbq flavours were nice. The rest not so much, the black truffle flavour was horrendous. The crisps are quite hard too with a few unpleasant burnt bits. I ate a pack of each flavour in the box, I'm going to give the rest to my parents to see what they make of them.

Nice flavoured crisps but only if in very small quantities - being roasted the fat content is lower but they are often less crispy and more hard, almost chewy. This is okay for the smaller bag sizes as by the time you have got fed up of "hardness" and lack of crispiness the bag is finished but for these larger bags there is very much an issue as I often end up throwing out partial bags as they take so long to get through. The hardness problem is exacerbated in the larger bags as they seem to use much larger potatoes and the resulting larger crisps are harder to eat than those in the smaller bag size. If you want to try these I would suggest trying the smaller bags. EDIT: went to try again to see if improved, seem to have gotten worse! Even harder than I remembered, there's no melt in your mouth with these. I'd be afraid to give these to a child as that hardness would make these a likely choking hazard. Taste/flavour seems to more bitter. A nice idea but the practice is not nice.
