I was looking for a MRE kit for a 3 day hike I'll be going on soon. This kit had an awesome variety of foods without a need to add water to the food prior to eating. No damaged products in the shipment or issues. If you can't read Russian there are some apps that allow you to take a picture that will the app then translates. It contains quite a few Meat and Cheese spreads, Beef Stew, Beef and rice as well as Chicken Veggies and rice entrees with crackers to go with the spreads. Apple sauce and a desert for each meal. There are some other handy items such as matches, iodine tablets, and more. Great value

Bought in order to enjoy something with my son. He opened it up and sticky jam was all over everything, after we run Ed everything off it was ok. I’d definitely try a diff MRE tho don’t get this one

Tried this out to compare against U.S. MREs. Very different take. What I thought was a ham spread was actually all pork fat with a small hunk of meat in the center. Maybe it was to be heated and mixed in with something else? Pretty much the only thing my son and I did not care for. He enjoyed the chewing gum especially the aftertaste. Me not so much. The parts were nice, and the mains while small in size made up in the flavor catagory. No seasoning needed. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. The instant fruit beverages need to be reconstituted with warm water for best mixing. After mixing and chilling, quite refreshing. Crackers a bit dry and crumbly so take care when you use them. They go well mixing in with the meals to soak up the gravy. $40.00 for this ration is a bit steep compared to other rations, but remember this is supposed to be an all day ration. Maybe drop the price point to $30.00?

This was excellent and I've sampled several. Supplier has upgraded to the "Dryzba Narodov" source. Better than the other offerings on Amazon. And it came to my house in a middle of the Texas snowstorm in 2 days! hows that for world commerce. Now, folks I see that there were some negative reviews, try to understand that what you are getting is not a super processed and bulletproof and plasticized US MRE but more akin to a box of goodies from a Russian delicatessen delivered in the back of a truck on a dirt road! Included is a pretty accurate translation of the food items. "Processed cheese spread sterilized" on "army biscuit from wheaten flour 1st grade" is my favorite the entrees are good, the desserts are good. Mine came with no issues but be assured that the vendor will, and shall make it right if any items were damaged as evidenced by the open communications i've had. Very, very impressed

I ordered three of these MREs. All of the boxes sounded like they have sugar or salt sifting around. We opened one of these, and indeed there was sugar all over the place and the fat/lard packet had burst open, greasing everything in the box with a slick coat of fat. The three main entree packets somehow survived, although they were dented and mangled. Know what to expect from an item like this. Buy this for an eating adventure at home with your friends, do not buy this is hopes that it will feed you in an emergency or on a hiking/camping trip. Frequently you’ll get these, with entire entrees that have burst and spoiled. So, again, these are for fun, but if you want something reliable, purchase freeze dried camp/emergency rations. I don’t expect product damage is related to the seller, the outside packaging looked in good shape, it is probably due to the nature of manufacture.

I bought this after watching a couple YouTube videos, so I knew what I was getting.A couple of the crackers were open, and some of the food packs were dented but still sealed. Nothing was spoiled though. My kid's and I shared this one for one meal, tried everything cold then used the folding stove to heat up the meals in the packs. We liked them both way, but warm was better, and when we added the salted pork fat to the other warmed up meals, I don’t think I have ever had anything better. These have doubled in price now so they are out of my price range, but when they were $31 with nothing opened or spoiled I could have easily eaten this every day for a week.

Ight so besides my processed cheese leaking and leaving a very in appealing smell around the whole of the packaged food. It came in primarily intact. I was wanting to sample that cheese this ration but with a year after manufacturer I'm not going to attempted to twist the splurging can of cheese. All the other items are good just smell like old cheese juice. When the shipping box arrived it did have damages. But since the cheese was soaked into the internal packages I believe it was stored badly.
