I love this tea. The small amount of caffeine combined with the L-Theanine makes for a smooth high without a crash and no jitters. If I want more caffeine or a larger cup, I add a bag of black tea to the brew. It also tastes great. I combine with honey or stevia.It DOES smell bad when brewed sometimes-- I thought a cat peed in my office before I figured out that the smell was the tea.

One of my favorite teas, it definitely revs me up but there is a calming sense as well.

I used to buy this at my local health food store until they went out of business. I three the last tea bag wrapper in a kitchen draw so i could order it online in the future. Then college and moving and life got in the way. While unpacking a box in the basement what do i see but this lil wrapper! I ordered online as soon as I could. Its way more pricy than i ever imagined... but after several years of holding on to the wrapper, I thought it very worth a try. I wasn’t disappointed. This tea is my favorite tea.

This is my favorite bagged mate. I find it gives me a little more energy than other bagged brands and with less crash while having a slightly better taste. Will definitely be buying again.

I am caffeine sensitive but this tea never makes me feel jittery or anxious. It revitalizes me all day long.
