Smaller than expected, brigher than expected, easy to setup & reliable so far!
I got these to provide lighting in a small area in our yard where we are growing a few strawberries and vegetables. Earwigs have been destroying our plants (we had to remove and replace three plants in the first week) so I went looking for solutions. One was small plastic bowls buried up to their lids w/holes in the lids, filled them w/soy sauce and vegetable oil. Earwigs are attracted to the smell of the soy sauce and drown in the oil. The other is light - they are noturnal feeders and avoid light. So, I set up two of these lights over my mini-garden, and put them on a SmartThings plug set to turn on at night, turn off in the morning. Works perfectly, the soy sauce/oil pots significantly reduced earwig damage, and since the lights we are essentially earwig-free (and bug-free in general) on the plants. The lights are smaller than expected, the official pics make them look bigger than they are, but they do a good job and provide plenty of light, and I'm actually happy they are small as that makes them less obtrusive. Mounting them to the short section of an outdoor shower was a simple matter of removing the nut that holds the light to the stake, then removing the piece that holds the light, screwing that to the board, and re-attaching the light. I used this two-plug adapter to connect both lights to an extension cord. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FRODUR4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The lights' biggest issue is that you need to connect every one of them to power, and there is no daisy-chain option, so at a minimum you need a 120v plug for them every 6 feet. So these are OK for targeted placement where you have power, but would not work (at least for most people) to provide lighting along a walkway, or across a garden, unless you've run a lot of power points. And I really don't want a bunch of 120v connections all over the place outside, risk of damage to them, kids mucking with them, etc. For that I'd use low-power lighting fixtures. But for targeted applications like mine I think these are quite good.

They are bright and never get hot

Medium brightness
The item is well-made, heavy cord, sturdy stake. I only wish they were brighter. I would definitely buy more again tho.

All metal, including stake
Very simple little spotlights for creating a couple of lit vignettes in my Halloween graveyard. They are all metal, including the stake, so they will be easy to push into the ground and they seem like they will last a long time. You can tilt them up and down to aim them and you can lock the position with an included allen wrench. The stake is removable in case you want to mount them on something else (base has a screw hole). They are small enough that I can easily hide the light source. The light is white and is not dimable and does not change color, but for the low price I paid, they exceeded my expectations. If I want to dim them or change the color, I can just cover them in colored celophane or something, but I will probably stick with white this year.

Let there be light
These work season after season. Just the right amount of brightness.

Perfect for Illuminating garden features
This purchase was to add a fourth light, so clearly I have had success with these. One I had to replace because I had positioned it with the light pointing straight up. It stopped working apparently because it got wet. My solution for the replacement was to place a piece of glass a few inches above the light to keep the rain off it. So far, so good. I have not had a problem with the others, which are pointed diagonally. The light color is warm; perfect for illuminating garden features. They are easy to set up, and can plug into an outdoor extension cord.
