Excellent purchase!
I use this more than I thought I would. It’s very cool. See the pictures. I’m restoring an old truck and the AC vent channel for the rear cab was badly cracked. I used the plastic welder along with fiberglass reinforcement to repair the part and return it to it’s full functionality. This purchase will definitely pay for itself through repairs like this. I’ll definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone.

great for filler
Works good once you can get it to melt down. seems to need a bit more heat, but it cools to a good hard surface.

🫤 it wasn’t the easiest to use
I used the tool they recommended, as far as I know and yes I know you’re supposed to take the bumper off and start from behind it. Regardless to that effect it is kind of a thin diamond or oval shape which I assume is so it doesn’t roll like round plastic rods but the result was that it would melt unevenly it would start really quick and then slow down in the middle and just when you think you should start spreading it parts aren’t melted so it dragged. Then if you left it to long the edges would start setting again causing the same problem but in an opposite effect. At the end of the day it worked and it came out halfway decent. This was just a temporary repair anyways. But I have had an easier and better looking plastic welds with other products. It will get the job done. But after they are sat in the bottom of the tool box for a while I had to do a small repair and grabbed one of these by accident, I ended up cutting this into 3 strips and it did go on much easier. But I’m not paying to have to cut this into 3 pieces to be able to use. So I would buy them again but not this particular shape design they have
