Doesn't work
I bought the dark brown, and it came today. I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the color doesn't come out onto the brush no matter how many times I click it or shake it. What a disappointment, not to mention a waste of $50.

Might not work on all hair types - brush too long.
The product does come out, but it doesn't stick to my hair very well and you can definitely still see the roots. The dye comes out of the bottom of the brush, and you really need to work it to get the dye to the tip. The tip is what you'll use to get to your roots, otherwise, the dye will be on the part of your hair that doesn't need to be touched up. I often need to use a Q-tip to move the dye from the bottom to the top. Even still, my gray is still REALLY obvious after a lot of work. I've tried this several times now and it doesn't get better. I won't be ordering again - it was a waste of money for me.I have silvery-white gray hair, with a wiry texture. I cover up with a permanent dark brown. I ordered the dark brown and it is too light (too orange-red). If I did buy again, I'd get the black.

It is easy to use and works!
I had been looking for a product for root touch ups in between my color appointments. When Root Vanish was recommended, I was anxious to try it. Although I was using it for the first time, the application was easy and the directions were very clear. It blends in with your hair color but you do have to blow dry the area quickly after application, to make sure it blends well. It also lasted through the next shampooing without reapplication. I definitely recommend this product!

MEEH. The Dark Brown leaves a greenish tint to my gray hair.
This product is just so-so. I found that every night when I washed my face, the product along the hairline of my face would wash off. I did like the applicator. If this product wasn't so expensive, I would consider buying it again. As it is, I'll go back to my "old" method of dealing with the grays along my hairline before my next hair color - using waterproof mascara (my natural hair color is brunette, so I can get away with using dark brown mascara). Using waterproof mascara just as well as this product, and is a lot less expensive.

Very helpful!
I had my doubts about this but it ends up working great. I decided to grow out my gray hair (chickened out) and this really helped minimize the gray roots along my hairline and part. It takes a couple of try's to get the hang of it so read the directions. Yes, it is ridiculously expensive but then so is getting your hair colored. The container is not very large but you don't use much per use. Using this could give you 1-2 weeks longer before needing root touch ups depending on your cut, etc.

I am very pleased, and it will definitely save me some trips ...
I wear my hair pulled back in a bun during the summer, and the gray becomes very noticeable at the hairline. The brush on the Root Vanish works very well in hiding the gray at the hairline. I can use a color stick in other areas of my hair, but not at the hairline. Root Vanish looks very natural, and the dark brown matches my hair perfectly. I am very active, so it will be interesting to see how the color performs during perspiration. So far, I am very pleased, and it will definitely save me some trips to the salon.

Nope! Nope! Nope!
Didn’t like this at all. When I put it on my new growth that was gray, it turned my hair neon yellow. And, after trying it a second time and getting the same result, it went in the trash.

Didn't work for me but according to other reviews works for many others
To start off, my hair is resistant to color. I tried this and it made my roots a darker gray, event with two applications. That being said, it was easy to apply and it didn't make my hair hard and the product stayed in my hair. It didn't flake off and no transfer onto pillowcases or other fabrics. I suppose, if it works for your hair it might be worth it.
