It just works!
I have this on a 45 foot sailboat, sitting in South Florida, and the humidity outside right now is 65%. Inside the boat it is 36%. That, my friends, is amazing! I have been using it for a few months now and all I can say is, “it works” and “it works well”! My entire 45 foot sailboat has less humidity when this is turned on! Now, if you are planning on using it in a 1200 sq Ft house, then it is probably not going to dehumidify the whole house (that is a “you” problem and not a problem with this device. Buy the right size). If you are wanting it for a bathroom, bedroom or like me, a boat, then look no further! This little gem is amazing! You do have to empty the container, as it does draw out a lot of water out of the air. I empty it once a week. For the size of the dehumidifier, they way it works and the price, I give it 5 stars!

Works great in an 8x10 greenhouse!
At the end of the summer we bought an 8x10 greenhouse for all my deck plants and moved a lot of my house plants out there too. The problem I kept having was the humidity was CRAZY HIGH! Now, some of my plants are tropical and can withstand or even like high humidity but I needed to balance out the humidity levels to something all my plants will like and thrive in. There’s an auto button that I think removes the excess humidity pretty fast but I don’t use that one. The one I use maintains humidity at 50% and shuts off when the humidity rises above. It auto turns on and off which I love. When the water gets about half way up in the tank.. I just dump it. I’ve been using this dehumidifier since end of August with no issues whatsoever. The photos I took were to show that it changes colors. I’ve never used this inside… it’s only been outside in the greenhouse since it was delivered.

Would be 5 star...
I really like this with one flaw. I have two hydrometers setting right beside it ready 61 and 62 but it's reading 40. Auto only works down to 50. I leave it on all the time as it's quiet enough I really don't even know it's running. Nice light show with off option. So far so good.

Works great in studio apartment
Going on my second summer using this in humid Arkansas and I couldn't be more pleased. Operating sound is non obtrusive and it pulls quite a bit of water out of the air in my studio apartment. (Approx 500 sq ft)It runs 24/7 during the summer months and I typically empty the reservoir once every 2 days.

Might as well wait for winter
I have had it constantly running the 2 days since I got it. It is 80+% humidity in the bedroom and everything feels damp, the room is 150sq feet. According to the machine it was 31% humidity when I plugged it in and in 40 hours of continuous running it has removed <1 tablespoon of water not even enough to cover 1/4 of the bottom of the storage container and now the humidity reads 80-81%. It puts out decent heat as well so it really does nothing to help keep the room comfortable. Blowing air out of the bedroom window at night using a window fan was way more effective in the past at reducing the humidity in just 1 hour as this machine is after running for nearly two days straight. It’s only saving grace is it is extremely quiet. I tried to return the product claiming it was defective after running it for 9 straight hours generating 1 drop of water in the container and for the first time ever I had to pay a large shipping cost to return it unless I got to a store and drop it off (there is not one anywhere near me). I then received a message stating the product used coil technology to cool the air and to give it 2-3 days to accomplish it’s task. It has been two days now and the humidity doubled so I do not have high hopes for a miracle change in performance tomorrow. If you want a quiet machine I would only recommend this product if your bedroom is slightly humid in the summer and you wanted to wait until winter for this device to “finish” it’s task.

Does it’s job!
I live in a single wide trailer and my bedroom had a lot of moisture in it! So much to the fact that my body pillow was getting wet from touching the wall behind my bed. Matter of fact my wall was wet. My boyfriend is a plumber so I know it wasn’t a leak. Once I bought this we noticed a difference in less than a day! It did wonders! My wall and pillow are no longer wet from the moisture and it’s much easier to breath in there! The amount of water it collects is shocking! Definitely a great purchase for a great price!

Didn't work for me
I converted one end of my cinder block garage into a small dog grooming area this summer. 250sq ft. Central Indiana. Humidity wasn't bad during the summer with a window air conditioner, but now that it's winter it's awful. I have a electric ceiling mount garage heater and the blow dryers blow off some heat. After drying a dog, esp, the room is super humid and the concrete floors are sweating. I bought this figuring it wouldn't take care of all the humidity, since my work creates so much, but thought it would help. Doesn't help at all. I ran it for 4 days straight, even overnight, and it didn't collect more than an inch of water. Also the humidity gage is off. First day I used it the floor was sweating, windows were dripping with humidity, and it read that the humidity was only 51 which I knew was not right. So I bought a digital humidity sensor and sure enough, it was way off. Idk if this humidifier is just plain junk or if it still mply can not handle the amount of humidity in my 250sq ft shop, but I figure I'm going to have to install an exhaust fan in my shop and try this humidifier in my much less humid basement and see if it operates any better.

After about a month use, so far so good
It seems to do what the description claims. At first, I did not trust the humidity displayed, but after leaving it on (always-on mode), the reading aligned with my humidity meter (only 2-5 % difference if not the same) which was placed about 1.2 m above the unit. I also think it works better (i.e., drawing more water under 50% humidity) the longer I leave it on comparing to the initial use. The only thing that bugs me a little is that it blows out mildly warm air.
