I absolutely love this towel! I have had it for years and it is still so nice and has no issues. I love how compact it is and soft. It is the best towel for any traveller or college student (like me), limited on space. 10/10

They're big enough, absorbent, and lighter than other towels. They dry gast too. Although I use mine for my waist length hair, it also works for a sarong after a shower. Plenty big, and I'm plus sized.

This towel is fantastic for everyday use, beach, travel, etc! I have two. Definitely soak it for 24 or a few hours like other people have said. Ive only hang dried it. the quality is exactly the same as when I bought it. I prefer these over my normal bath towels after I shower as they are large, absorb water more quickly and leave my skin dried (as opposed to bath towels, I still feel like I need to towel off again). The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It is great travel size. The sand just shook off perfectly after laying on the beach with it. The price is great, too. Love, love, love these. I will be buying more!

Lightweight & fast drying. Gets softer the more you wash them (no fabric softener….that does the opposite for these). If you are looking for a less heavy beach towel, I recommend! Also these towels make adorable wraps/scarves for accessorizing.

I purchased one to test out first. Based on reviews, I liked the fact that it can travel with me without taking up a whole section in my luggage. My first impression: it wasn't as soft and I was skeptical about its absorbency. I followed directions and soaked it in water for 24hrs prior to first use. Then I threw it in the wash alone on delicate cycle (cold and low spin), and allowed it to air dry. Right away, my previous reservations went away. It was already softer than when I first received it and boy, did it dry fast. No way would a regular towel have dried in that time. I went ahead and purchased 2 more for an upcoming trip that included a water park. I just can't get over how compact they folded. And don't let the thinness fool you. At the water park, we were able to reuse them all day because they absorbed well and dried quickly in between uses. Winner! I am currently unpacking and just a moment ago, I was putting these away...still more impressed! They are holding up well and continue to soften with each wash. I love these so much, I felt compelled to write this review for my fellow Amazon-ers. In fact, I will add another to my shopping cart as soon as I am finished here. Just be sure to care for them as directed:(1) soak 24hrs to allow fibers to initially expand--only need to do this once (2) use delicate or hand wash cycles (3) do not use fabric softener which will negatively impact the absorbancy (4) avoid the dryer; they air dry effectively and still remain soft. An additional tip: some reviews complain about the fringes unravelling after the first wash. Based on another user, I took the time to tighten the knot on each fringe before that first soak. Some were definitely loose and I have no doubt they would have come undone. So glad I did this. All of my fringes are still nicely twisted.There are many listings from different sellers and sites. Prices can vary widely but don't let this price point fool you. They're the real deal and I'm snagging me another one. Maybe even two...

Like a reviewer stated, the material may not be 100% cotton. I agree BUT they do feel soft after a few washes and most importantly, they absorb water really well & efficient. It also dries very quickly. I have never used turkish bath towels before but got rid of my old thick towels. I really like these a lot. Saves a lot on closet space, too.I only gave it 3 stars because I am not convinced it is 100% cotton, some edge fraying issues and the colors are not as pictured.Only notable CONS:1) The edges on the long side looks very cheap and frayed but I know how to sew, took them in and now they look perfect.2) The colors are not exactly as pictured and much lighter in reality – mostly like pastel colors. The black is really a charcoal and the dark gray, a faint light gray, and the crocodile green a light beige with a green tint. If you want solid color stick with the darkest shades.

Saw the flat woven Turkish cotton towel advertised somewhere at like 44 dollars each for a large beach style towel. Looked on Amazon and saw many listed cheaper and thought I'd try one.Amazing! Many reviews talk about the importance of pulling each knot tight and pre soaking in water for 24 hours. I did this and wrung it out and hung it to dry. It does dry super fast! It's not fluffy but I think the cotton is really soft. It really is incredibly absorbent. The fact that it takes up very little space and is super light is a huge bonus.Ultra light hikers should take note! This is rather large, and great for home or beach use. I've ordered some smaller ones and believe they would be a great cotton alternative to the plastic synthetic crap sold at 2x the cost or more.I've used and washed mine for a month now. I always hang it to dry since it takes very little time and I believe it will last longer. It's holding up well.Buy with confidence!!

It's a little rough, kind of like a new dish towel. It's getting softer and I've only washed it twice. Nice and big, dries way faster then fluffy bath towels. Since its thin it easily packs small for trips.

Great towels. Great for the beach or camping. They don't take up the room a normal towel does. They dry quickly too. I did soak them over night in water as some of the other reviews suggested. I think this helps to release the fibres so they are more absorbent and soft. A great buy!

I was hoping to replace all my bath towels with these so bought one to try. They are great from a storage point of view as really thin and look lovely. But I had to use my old towel in order to be fully dry. This wasn't absorbent enough. Such a shame. I don't know whether this is the same for all this style of towels, or just this make.
