I wanted to provide a gift to my calculus tutor, and she ate this up! The mug appears to be very sturdy, and it is regular sized. I have not utilized it, but my assumption is that the cup will heat up when put in the microwave, so use a mitt when retrieving it! The packaging was, eh, 4/5. It was merely wrapped in a single unit of large bubble wrap and put into a sealed box. I would say my only request to the producers is to put more reinforcements around it. I had ordered this with other items, so the tiny box was put into ANOTHER box ... but that won't always be the case.

I purchased this as a farewell gift for a teacher who is leaving the school. The mug was perfect size and he really liked it.
